The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

The RTX Enterprise Services Organization is seeking to fill a role as a member of the Foundational Applications Consolidations and Advanced Reporting Team supporting Finance and Manufacturing SAP instances. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced and energetic person who can comfortably assume responsibility and take on challenges in unfamiliar areas.  It is strongly desired that the candidate applies an understanding of the configuration in support of SAP Advanced reporting, Intercompany, and Consolidations including revenue recognition evaluation and the production and management of reconciliation reports supporting the Business Units.

In combination with systems configuration knowledge, it is crucial that the candidate possess a thorough understanding of financial operating processes and how they interact across other inter-dependent SAP Modules such as HR, Materials Management, Project Systems and Sales & Distribution as the candidate will interact with a broad multi-disciplined customer base in support of providing system modification

What You Will Do:

  • Work with a broad multi-disciplined user base to support system change requirements, develop functional specifications and ensure project execution

  • Act in a functional capacity with the expectation of supporting Business Processes in conjunction with system requirements for multiple areas of SAP

  • Provide expertise and delivery for the Finance functional life cycle phases

  • Ensure solutions meet customer needs as well as Service Level Agreements and consider compliance requirements for Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Sarbanes/Oxley

  • Responsible for measuring deliverables, ad-hoc projects, providing guidance and communication with multiple levels within the organization

  • Prepare functional requirement specifications

  • Deliver hands-on day to day SAP production support

Qualifications you must have:

  • A Bachelors degree Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, (STEM) or related field with 8 years of experience.

  • Experience with the IT life cycle: Requirements/Analysis, Design, Specification, Code/Configuration, Development Testing, Change Management, Sustain, and Optimize with demonstrated solutions design expertise in financial areas

  • In-depth, hands-on experience in SAP across the following financial disciplines, Financial Accounting (FI), Cost Accounting (CO), Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules.,

  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills to solve complex programs and add input within a team environment

  • Working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Sarbanes Oxley

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Defense industry cost and financial accounting & SAP experience

  • Functional finance experience

  • Global SAP deployment and implementation experience

  • Detail oriented with the ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

  • Demonstrated project management and the potential to assume responsibility for ad-hoc projects that may require manpower resources during critical times

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
