As a co-pilot to the Sr Commercial Director THV France, and in close cooperation with the Regional Strategy & Operations Leadership, you will drive critical business activities that ensure best-in-class planning and execution of key sales and marketing strategies by the field teams in THV. The role is performed by developing and executing sales plans, monitoring daily sales and clinical training performance, supporting sales compensation plans, developing systems and processes, supporting business performance management and reporting. The purpose of the job is to support field performance, operational excellence and key analyses and insights to drive impactful management decisions and ensure business success.

How you’ll make an impact: 

 

1. Commercial Planning and Governance 

  • Lead country-level strategic planning, AOP, and forecasting processes in alignment with regional governance 

  • Own leadership meeting cadence, agendas, and execution follow-through 

  • Consolidate forecast, sales, and market inputs from regional sales leaders to ensure consistency and transparency 

  • Prepare high-quality, executive-ready materials for business reviews and leadership forums 

2. Performance Management & Analytics 

  • Drive a high-performance, accountable, and customer-focused culture 

  • Own commercial KPIs, dashboards, and standardized performance reporting 

  • Translate data into insights, trends, and clear recommendations to support leadership decision-making 

  • Identify performance gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives 

3. Sales & Execution Enablement 

  • Partner closely with sales leadership to drive execution excellence, including segmentation and account planning 

  • Establish and scale best practices and operational standards across the organization 

  • Support rollout and tracking of key commercial and marketing initiatives and projects 

  • Lead cross-functional and regional projects to enable execution and operational effectiveness 

4. Pricing, Metrics, and Cross-Functional Alignment 

  • Manage pricing governance in partnership with regional pricing teams 

  • Ensure strong cross-functional alignment through structured operating rhythms 

  • Develop, own, and maintain SMART metrics to steer commercial performance and behaviors 

  • Lead and develop analyst resource, ensuring clear information flow between field teams and leadership 

What you’ll need (Required): 

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years' work experience (in Finance, Business Operations, Marketing/Sales)

  • Minimum of 3 year-experience in the medical device or healthcare industry

  • Fluency in English and French

  • Ability to travel on a regular basis (30%)

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and business decisions

  • Proven experience driving planning, forecasting, and performance management cycles (e.g., AOP, business reviews)

  • Ability to challenge assumptions, assess trade-offs, and influence senior stakeholders with confidence

  • Advanced analytical capability, including KPI definition, dashboarding, and performance trend analysis, with extensive understanding of data flow between data systems

  • Track record of prioritizing and executing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, highly cross functional environment requiring autonomy and resilience

  • Clear, concise communicator with strong influencing skills and sound judgment in ambiguous situations

  • Understanding of emerging industry trends and interdependencies affecting both Edwards and customers

  • Proven successful project management experience

  • Previous people management experience

  • Knowledge of the Structural Heart environment is a plus
