Position Overview

This position is responsible for managing the S&OP team including; facilitating the planning process, driving improvements to the process and aligning the final plan with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage capacity on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure the most effective and efficient production to meet customer demands

  • Translate sales and operations plan, project forecasts, and current orders into a monthly production plan per facility

  • Establish, measure, monitor and adjust capacity levels to execute all production schedules

  • Assemble and publish reports regarding performance to business plan, shipment plan, inventory plan and production plan

  • Compile raw materials demands and share with planners, coordinators and purchasing to ensure uninterrupted production operations

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 5-7 years’ relevant experience required

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

  • Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time

  • Ability to work in plant and office environments

  • Working conditions could include: dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces
