Overview
This role will be responsible to monitors Credit Portfolio performance, analyzes risks, and escalates vulnerabilities under BNM’s Credit Risk guidelines while overseeing SCEL, Connected Parties, Cagamas securitization, and Stress Testing. You will also lead a team of credit risk professionals and manage key stakeholder relationships. This role will be reporting to the Head of Credit Risk.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor Asset Quality, Sector Concentration, and Credit Portfolio Risk across Bank-wide, PFS, and BCB portfolios against Risk Appetite Statements, escalating breaches to senior management.
Lead the compilation of the Credit Asset Quality (CAQ) presentation deck, governance materials, and routine portfolio reports for local and overseas operations.
Coordinate operational workflows and reporting for Cagamas securitization with GALCO, Global Markets, and business partners to support funding strategies.
Maintain BNM SCEL policies, compile the Top Exposure Dashboard, and provide primary advisory support to internal stakeholders.
Oversee Connected Parties (CP) monitoring systems and dashboards, ensuring timely and accurate regulatory submissions to BNM.
Execute data gathering, scenario execution, and reporting for Credit Stress Testing while strengthening model governance standards.
Lead, motivate, and delegate tasks to the team while building strong relationships with senior management, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with a background in credit assessment, risk management, and banking regulations (risk certification preferred).
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Credit Review, Credit Analysis, or Credit Risk Management.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and big-picture strategic skills with high attention to detail.
Proven leadership ability to delegate, motivate, and manage a high-performing credit risk team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex risk concepts to senior management and external stakeholders.
