The Manager, Risk Intelligence and Analytics will report to the Director, Risk Intelligence and Analytics in Global Risk Intelligence and Technology (GRIT) function, supporting Asia Segment function mission and vision. The role will have matrix reporting to the Asia Enterprise Risk Management team and will support ERM-related activities across the Asia segment. Key areas of focus would be promoting a risk aware culture, providing support on regular risk reporting and Risk Committee meetings, strengthening the risk governance framework to ensure sound risk management throughout Asia.

Positional Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong risk governance & infrastructure across Asia Segment and individual markets.

  • Provide support on Risk Committee and other relevant oversight committees meetings.

  • Manage and maintain key risk policies.

  • Assist in refining risk appetite statements and limits.

  • Provide effective risk oversight at Asia Segment level, coordinating the effort from BU Risk and other Risk oversight functions (e.g. Financial Risk, Insurance Risk, Operational Risk, Information Risk).

  • Lead the preparation and review of quarterly risk reports and other management dashboards.

  • Support various risk reviews such as strategic risk assessment, Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) review, and Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) review from selected markets.

  • Promote and drive improvement in risk culture across Asia Segment.

  • Support on risk culture assessments and awareness programs.

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and provide risk training to enhance the capabilities of local risk management functions, particularly in less mature markets.

  • Assist in organizing and hosting the Asia Risk townhall to promote engagement across the risk management community.

  • Coordinate with Group and local risk management functions on various ERM program and initiatives.

  • Support ERM transformation initiatives, risk governance reviews and evolving risk assessments etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree holder with 7+ years' experience in risk management gained in life insurance companies or banks.

  • Solid knowledge on enterprise risk management framework and governance.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills; ability to build effective working relationships with various stakeholders across Global, Segment and local markets.

  • Strong leadership, strategic-minded, self-motivated, attention to detail.

  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Developed financial acumen and business orientation.

  • Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Power BI and Power Platform (particularly PowerApps, Power Automate) for creating interactive dashboards, automating workflows, and developing custom applications is preferred

  • Dashboard design with a focus on UI/UX

  • Big data analysis, including the use of Azure and Databricks to process and interpret large datasets.

  • Statistical software (e.g., Python, R) and risk management tools, along with experience in automating data processes and implementing digital solutions.

  • Database schemas, data modeling, and ETL processes.
