About Delve Deeper

We're a ~130-person performance media agency built for the subscription-focused nonprofit and mission-driven sector. We run digital fundraising and performance media for organizations like UNICEF, the IRC, and WFP USA, alongside commercial brands. Our clients don't hire us for impressions. They hire us for revenue and return.

We're in the middle of a deliberate shift: from a hero-dependent delivery model to a productized, systematized one. This role is central to that shift.

The Role

Right now, performance reporting at Delve Deeper is good but bespoke. Every client gets a thoughtful answer built largely by hand. That doesn't scale, and it means our best analytical thinking lives in one-off deliverables instead of in a system.

We're hiring a Reporting & Insights Manager to change that. You'll own two things at once: the ongoing analytical work that keeps clients on target today, and the build of the reporting infrastructure that makes that work repeatable tomorrow. You'll do the work, and you'll design the machine that eventually does the work.

You'll partner directly with our Executive Leadership Team, our Chief Delivery Officer, our Media Strategists, and our Account/Client Leadership team. You'll work alongside Data Engineering to move us from platform exports to a governed data layer in GCP. And you'll lead a team of two Analysts.

This is a role for someone who is genuinely excellent in a spreadsheet and thinks in systems. Both. If you only have one of those, this isn't the fit.

What You'll Own

1. Performance Targets — Plan vs. Actual, Across Every Client

Our Performance Target project establishes annual, quarterly, monthly, and daily plan-vs-actual performance reporting (Media RoAS, Digital Revenue, etc) for every media client. You'll own it end to end and make sure it holds up under scrutiny from clients and from our own leadership.

This is not a data maintenance job. It requires deep, ongoing collaboration with Strategists on the media team and with Client Leadership — understanding how targets were set, when they need to be re-forecast, and what a variance actually means before it becomes a client conversation.

2. Universal Media Performance Framework

You'll create a standardized, cross-client, cross-channel reporting framework covering the metrics that matter: ad investment, impressions, clicks, transactions, revenue, and the derived metrics that sit on top of them.

The output is a brand-new client-facing interface — probably built initially in Looker, with AI-powered insights and recommendations layered in where they earn their place. The goal: any client we onboard gets a consistent, high-quality performance view without a custom build every time.

3. Forecasting

You'll build bottom-up forecasting models for clients — used in new business pitches, in engagement kickoffs to set honest expectations, and in ongoing QBRs. Some of this is ad hoc; some becomes recurring. The bar is models that survive contact with reality, not models that look good in a deck.

4. Ad Hoc Reporting

You'll own custom reporting for clients with genuinely unique needs — and you'll be the judge of what stays custom versus what gets absorbed into the universal framework. Part of the job is knowing the difference.

How the Work Splits

Roughly half of this role is doing the analytical work.

The other half is building the product that reduces how much of it has to be done by hand.

Execution — Doing the Work

  • Pull, connect, clean, and reconcile data from ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, DV360, etc.), CRM and marketing automation systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud and similar), and one-off client datasets
  • Work comfortably with large datasets and APIs; know when to script it and when to just get it done
  • Partner with Data Engineering to stand up and maintain platform and API connections
  • Prepare and QA data feeding recurring reports across Looker, Row Zero, Sheets/Excel, and similar tools
  • Mastery-level Excel. Not "advanced." Mastery.
  • Manage, review, and develop two Analysts — set the quality bar and hold it

Build — Productizing It

This applies to the two recurring workstreams: Performance Target expectation-setting and reporting, and the Universal Media Performance Framework.

  • Build the universal reporting framework — starting on Funnel.io, then migrating to GCP so all platform and CRM data is ingested, stored, and transformed centrally
  • Define and implement transformations in GCP alongside Data Engineering to calculate custom and derived metrics
  • Build intuitive front ends: internal-facing for our media team (RoAS Targets) and client-facing (Universal Media Performance Framework), starting in Looker
  • Design where AI genuinely adds value — surfacing anomalies, drafting insight narratives, flagging pacing risk — and where it doesn't
  • Write the documentation and definitions so the framework outlives any one person, including you

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 5+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or performance reporting — agency, in-house performance marketing, or a comparable data-heavy environment
  • Deep, practical understanding of databases and SQL; you can get to the data yourself
  • Hands-on experience with digital media platform data (Google Ads, Meta at minimum) and CRM/marketing data
  • Expert Excel — complex modeling, large datasets, data cleansing, and the judgment to know when Excel is the wrong tool
  • Experience building in a BI tool (Looker strongly preferred) — not just consuming dashboards, but building them
  • Demonstrated experience building forecasting models from the bottom up
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders — strategists, account leads, executives — and translate between them and the data
  • Clear written and verbal communication; you can explain a variance to a CMO and a join condition to an engineer in the same afternoon

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with GCP (BigQuery, Looker Studio/Looker, dbt or equivalent transformation tooling)
  • Experience with Funnel.io or a comparable data-integration platform
  • Python or R for data manipulation and automation
  • Prior people-management experience
  • Nonprofit fundraising or direct-response performance experience
  • Practical experience applying LLMs/AI to analytics workflows — insight generation, anomaly detection, narrative automation

How You Work

  • You're a builder, not just a reporter. You get uncomfortable doing the same manual task twice.
  • You're curious about the business, not just the numbers. You want to know why the target is the target.
  • You take ownership without being asked. This team runs on people who close their own loops.
  • You have opinions about data quality and you defend them.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 days — You know our data landscape cold: every platform, every client, every existing report and where it breaks. RoAS Target reporting is running reliably under your ownership. You've assessed your two Analysts and know where the gaps are.

Six months — The Universal Media Performance Framework v1 is live in Looker for a pilot set of clients, with data flowing through Funnel.io. Forecasting is a repeatable process rather than a scramble. Ad hoc requests are triaged, not absorbed indiscriminately.

Twelve months — The framework is on GCP, rolled out across the client base, and part of how we onboard. RoAS Targets are the shared operating language between Media, Account, and the ELT. AI-powered insight generation is in production where it adds real value. Manual reporting hours are meaningfully down, and your Analysts are doing higher-order work than they were when you arrived.

Why This Role Matters

Most agencies report on what happened. We want to tell clients what's going to happen, and be accountable when it doesn't. That requires infrastructure most agencies don't have and won't build. This is the role that builds it.

What We Offer

  • Work schedule: 12 pm- 8 pm
  • A competitive salary and an annual bonus opportunities
  • A promote from within culture and the chance to define your career growth
  • Health and dental insurance (after trial period)
  • 28 calendar PTO days
  • Flexible sick days policy backed by full 100% short-time disability coverage
  • Brand new office in Minsk, built and designed exclusively for DELVE
  • English language tuition covered for specific positions
  • Compensation of sports facilities (after trial period)
  • Mental health reimbursement (after trial period)
  • Generous employee referral bonuses
  • Hybrid Working Model: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in office with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays
