The Manager, Solution Quality Assurance and Governance will report to the Director, Risk Intelligence and Analytics in Global Risk Intelligence and Technology (GRIT) function, supporting Global Risk mission and vision. The role will be responsible for delivering a range of functional capabilities, including but not limited to performance optimization, testing of reporting and automated solutions, analytics, and troubleshooting of technical solutions (such as dashboards, apps and automated workflows). This also involves collaborating with development teams to implement enhancements, ensuring seamless user experience, and supporting the development and execution of strategic roadmaps for the function.

The incumbent’s role will focus on driving efficiency and reliability in reporting and automated solutions. This involves conducting performance testing, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with development teams to implement enhancements that ensure optimal functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sets solutions or products performance benchmarks, in terms of response time, latency, throughput, load, scalability, stress, robustness.

  • Identifies performance bottlenecks in dashboard, application and/or workflow architecture.

  • Analyzes individual application performance in technology stack.

  • Ensures compliance with guidelines set forth by technical architecture as well as Dev-Sec-Ops.

  • Conduct testing to determine performance, scalability and stability of solutions, allowing designers and developers to identify gaps in a system and modify the potential solutions accordingly.

  • Ensures that reporting and automation components within the organization’s reporting, automation, analytics and AI ecosystem function as intended and deliver their expected outcomes.

  • Improves applications and systems performance by identifying superior methods of developing the product and fixes existing issues.

  • Assists in entire development cycle, ensuing optimal performance of the finished product.

  • Participates in application design and architecture sessions and makes recommendations on how to improve reporting and application performance.

  • Optimizes system performance through the collaboration with developments teams, infrastructure teams, and architects.

  • Performs peer reviews of code / deliverables and analysis for continuous learning and continuous improvement.

  • Identifies performance issues through system performance data analysis, logs and metrics analysis to provide optimization recommendations.

  • Utilizes monitoring tools and solutions to ensure optimal system performance standards, and communicates test results, findings, and recommendations to various stakeholders through performance reports and dashboards.

  • Provide support to Risk and Technology Tooling team on data ingestion, clean-up, mapping etc. (e.g., data analysis, data clean-up, validation, creating and maintenance of reports and dashboards)

  • Identifying opportunities for creating efficiencies within reporting framework and processes.

  • Assist in the generation of reports and ensuring accuracy in the metrics being reported.

  • Assist with documenting processes, procedures, project work and ad hoc request as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Around 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Knowledgeable in financial services, insurance, and technology risk management.

  • Proficient in Power BI and Power Platform (particularly PowerApps, Power Automate) for creating interactive dashboards, automating workflows, and developing custom applications.

  • Skilled in dashboard design with a focus on UI/UX.

  • Experience in big data analysis, including the use of Azure and Databricks to process and interpret large datasets.

  • Expertise in statistical software (e.g., Python, R) and risk management tools, along with experience in automating data processes and implementing digital solutions.

  • Knowledgeable in database schemas, data modeling, and ETL processes.

  • Strong reporting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines, ensuring precise and accurate financial risk analysis.

  • Highly organized individual with strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent collaborative and relationship building skills; showing tact and diplomacy in dealing with others.

  • Ability to learn quickly and be comfortable with adjusting to ad-hoc changes in workflow.
