Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving process development milestones on two or more new product introductions (NPI’s). You will lead a team who have various levels of experience who are tasked with the project management for NPI projects used to manufacture catheters, guidewires and implantable neurovascular devices.

  • Partner effectively across divisional and operations functions to deliver new products to market on time.
  • Provide clear direction on projects and define priorities for the team.
  • Determine project scope, scale, resource needs, and financial requirements for each new product, while maintaining accountability for capital and expense budgets.
  • Critically assess new product charters and financial plans to identify key deliverables, including standard cost and launch requirements.
  • Collaborate with counterparts across the broader organization to address common NPI challenges and implement effective resolutions.
  • Guide the team through complex or difficult situations, remove obstacles, assign appropriate resources, and partner with other functions to resolve issues.
  • Establish priorities and create a sense of urgency to deliver new products within quality, cost, and timeline expectations.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of technical experience in a product or process development role.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.

  • Results-driven leadership style with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, process validation, and engineering experience in new product introduction, with a track record of bringing products to market.
  • Experience with process mapping, design transfer, design for manufacturability (DFM), Lean methodologies, and Class 6 clean rooms.

  


United States of America Pay Ranges:

  • $123,900 - $206,500 USD Annual

  


Travel Percentage: 20%
