Job Title: Quality Manager
Job Summary:
Leads and coordinates quality assurance measures in the operational production areas and supporting functions to ensure product, process, and system stability. Meets the requirements of internal and external customers. Is responsible for all operational quality assurance measures.
Responsibility:

Develops and supports the Quality Management System.

Assumes the tasks of a direct superior for the employees in the quality and test department. Responsible for the recruitment, training and performance evaluation of employees, promotion recommendations and the preparation of work plans.

Develops and uses quality tools and procedures, such as APQP, Poke Yoke, FMEA, statistical process control, etc., to avoid errors in development and production procedures. Conducts training on quality instruments and procedures.

Leads the certification of adequate suppliers, monitors supplier performance, recommends improvements in quality, costs, deliveries, etc., and takes measures to solve problems due to quality and process fluctuations.

Acts as a company representative for specific quality requirements and initiatives on the part of customers and, if necessary, makes internal quality assurance data available to customers.

Ensures that the company complies with IATF, ISO, and other system/standard requirements, such as customer specifications and technical requirements.

Develops and improves measurement methods to control process performance values such as first-time yield, defects per unit, quality costs, manufacturing precision, etc.

Evaluates current and new quality assurance programs and carries out continuous improvement projects.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Academic/Educational Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

More than 7 years’ experience in leading quality team
-
Extensive experience in the application of APQP, Poke Yoke, FMEA, statistical methods
-
Managing or supervising teams of people in a high-volume production environment.

Automotive manufacturing preferred.
