About This Role
CAE is seeking a dedicated Manager of Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring to join our team in the Dallas office. This role will oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and Compliance Monitoring System (CMS), ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards while promoting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Program Execution: Coordinate and execute the approved Global Annual Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring audit program, ensuring ongoing compliance with Regulatory and Corporate Standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement and maintain a continuous improvement program aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist in maintaining all relevant regulatory and industry approvals for the assigned area, ensuring certification compliance to the highest standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate and coordinate with Regulatory Authorities, internal, and external stakeholders regarding Quality Assurance and Compliance matters.
- Regional Oversight: Act as Postholder or Deputy Postholder for assigned regions, accountable for the continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Management Systems across the regional ATO and FSTDO network.
- Collaboration: Liaise with Centre leaders and Regional Heads of Safety and Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring to promote continuous improvement and harmonization of policies.
- Training & Mentorship: Participate in the Global Training Plan for Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring, providing mentorship and training as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: Lead Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring meetings, maintaining feedback systems to assess and enhance compliance performance.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the development of annual KPIs in collaboration with Regional Heads of Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring.
- Documentation Control: Oversee centralized records management for all Civil Division documentation related to Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a relevant professional certification.
- 5 to 8 years of experience as a qualified Quality Auditor.
- Proficient in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI).
- Knowledgeable in ICAO, Transport Canada, FAA, CASA, EASA, and other NAA regulations relevant to Safety, Quality Assurance, Training, and Operations.
- IOSA Audit experience is an asset.
- Previous experience establishing or coordinating QMS and CMS for training organizations or airlines is preferred.
- Experience as a regulator overseeing Airlines and Training Organizations is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex Quality Assurance, Compliance, Technical, and Operational issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a team effectively, driving results and fostering a collaborative environment.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid role
- Travel required: Approximately 10% - 15%
- Work environment includes office, airport, and training center locations with a combination of indoor and outdoor activities.
- May require specialized safety equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Moderate physical activity, with variable office and on-site tasks requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and other repetitive motions.
