1. Responsible for Quality assurance activities related to inward inspection of casting, forging, s/c machined items, bought out items, gear boxes, Actuators.
2. Ensuring Quality & Certificate requirements of all in- coming materials like castings, Forgings, bought out components and inspection report for sub-contracted machined components.
3. Organise & carry out sample inspection of casting & forging for the new development items
4. Organising a Notified body for witnessing the forging & test bar and arranging for machining, carry out mechanical test and getting .3.2 certification for forgings in order to meet PED requirements for CE marking valves.
5. Organise TPI for machining components inspection and clearing the items based on TPI report on daily basis.
6. Plan & organise the yearly SQIP audit plan and circulate to all buyers
7. Ensure to carry out audit as per plan and report submission & getting CAPA from supplier
8. Collect & sending the monthly Rework & rejection data about casting & forging and circulate to all concern
9. Carrying out Internal Audits on QMS/EMS/OHSAS as per audit schedule and as a part of internal audit and report the findings to auditee & MRR.
10. Collect the monthly rework & rejection data about supplier issues and inform to concern buyer and supplier, getting the corrective action and ensure the implementation.
11. Team lead for SAP implementation and solving SAP related issues. Monitoring of
X2- notification for closure. QM views up dating after release of new item codes.
12. Prepare QIP for inward inspection of casting & forgings, inspection of machining items.
13. Collect & ensure all documents receiving to MTC portal and store in common folder for retrieval by final inspection team to prepare the quality dossier enable to dispatch the valve.
Skills Required
- Experience with inward inspection of castings, forgings, machined items, bought-out components, gearboxes, and actuators
- Knowledge of quality and certificate requirements for incoming materials and subcontracted components
- Ability to organise and carry out sample inspections for new casting and forging developments
- Experience coordinating a Notified Body, machining of test bars, mechanical testing, and obtaining EN 10204 3.2 certificates to meet PED/CE marking
- Experience organising and overseeing Third Party Inspection (TPI) for machined components
- Capability to plan and manage annual SQIP/supplier audit plans and execute supplier audits, including CAPA follow-up
- Experience performing internal audits of QMS, EMS, and OHSAS and reporting findings
- Experience collecting and analysing rework and rejection data and driving corrective actions with suppliers and buyers
- Lead experience in SAP implementation for QM processes and resolving SAP-related QM issues
- Ability to prepare Quality Inspection Plans (QIP) and manage quality dossier/document control via MTC portal
