Get to Know the Role

The Public Affairs Manager will support the team leaders in orchestrating relevant resources to effectively implement public affairs strategies. You will improve internal implementation and engage with external partners to deliver meaningful public partnerships.

You will work onsite at Ho Chi Minh City.

You will report to the Head of Public Affairs, VN.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Implement a public affairs strategy
• Collaborate with local teams to establish clear public affairs analyses, assessments, and plans
• Develop strategies and projects to achieve our social mission
• Establish and manage strategic government relations and partnerships
• Build important partnerships with relevant government partners
• Be the team support and liaison with government partners
• Represent the team at important government meetings and events
• Manage important partnerships with community partners in the public and private sectors
• Establish important partnerships to help achieve strategic goals and social mission
• Collaborate with other teams to plan, launch, and implement main partner and social good projects or campaigns
• Support communications efforts with PR and marketing teams
• Develop strategic PR campaigns and communications to advocate our policy agenda.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Over 5 years of experience in public and government affairs, strategic advisory, planning, partnerships, and project management in Vietnam.
• Experience with government, startups, or social enterprises.
• Experience coordinating execution across organizations and working with government partners.
• A strategy thinking who can create policy positions to support Grab's goals.
• Knowledgeable about public issues and current events.
• Passionate about making a positive impact in Southeast Asia.
