Summary of This Role

Manages the execution of projects in accordance with organization's project management methodology. Develops, prioritizes and submits project plans, budgets and methodologies across a range of key projects. Defines project resources, performance reviews and post implementation evaluations. Take owership of the successful implementation of a set of projects. Manages the deliverables from stakeholders. Advises on the most complex or critical projects; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; identifies and resolves operational problems and minimizes delays. Evaluates and authorizes changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project.

What Part Will You Play?
  • Contributes to project management strategy formulation, executes and supports known and emerging project activities.
  • Plans and optimizes utilization of resources in support of our clients and our business, to drive effective financial and project delivery performance in line with established targets. Executes strategies to handle emerging projects pipeline and address possible resourcing gaps. Facilitates and manages portfolio issues and risks through to appropriate resolution.
  • Gathers project updates from project managers, prepares and circulates the project delivery executive summary dashboard to internal stakeholders and senior management. Prepares projects statistics for senior management and ad-hoc reports for the project team.
  • Assigns project managers to newly emerging projects. Updates allocation tracking mechanisms for senior management, showing actual efforts for the current projects and forecast for future months.
  • Provides input on developing guidelines and trains others on project management operational activities.
  • Oversees work related to initiatives put in place by management to improve accuracy of information available in databases used to extract project information, validate available capacity, revenue recognition and forecasted revenue.
  • Identify and / or implement new and more efficient ways of working. Proactively contribute ideas, knowledge and support towards the ongoing advancement of project performance and the project management community.
  • Serves as an escalation point for the project management team, clients, and support teams, on project issue identification, escalation and resolution. Advises on issue escalation and risk mitigation by evaluating the probability of risk and helping develop quality and risk management plans to minimize negative impact to project objectives and deliverables. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and leadership to seek low risk resolutions.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Typically a minimum of 3 years related professional experience and prefer a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a supervisory position.
