The Role:
We are searching for a dedicated Legal Project Manager to oversee, streamline, and improve our legal operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a solid understanding of legal processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will manage multiple tasks, lead teams effectively, and ensure legal services are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilites:
- Oversee and manage legal projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
- Develop written deliverables (e.g., slides, reports) independently or collaboratively.
- Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and budgets.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external partners.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to meet objectives.
- Measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all legal documents are accurate, compliant, and up-to-date.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to each project and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
- Coordinate training and professional development for project teams
Skills & Qualifications:
- · Proven experience as a Project Manager in a legal or professional services setting.
- · Strong knowledge of legal terminology, methodologies, and procedures.
- · Solid understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- · Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- · Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project management tools is a plus.
- · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Criteria:
- · Formal Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2).
- · Experience in legal operations, compliance, or contract management.
- · Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
