Job Summary
Plans, monitors, and manages internal projects from initiation through completion. Implements project management structures and processes for cross-functional projects that meet business objectives.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Plans, organizes, and controls resources and processes to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
- Works closely with project stakeholders to coordinate project schedules and deliverables, including managing and refining project workflows.
- Liaisons between senior leadership and day-to-day project teams to communicate project timeline and status updates.
- Uses project management software to oversee projects budgets, manage deliverables, and track project completion.
- Ensures project changes and deviations maximize gains and minimize risks to impacted areas.
- Evaluates resources needed to accomplish project objectives, including identifying risks, managing mitigations, and recommending and documenting final changes needed for project implementation.
- Develops user procedures, guidelines, documentation, and communication plans related to project outcomes.
- Trains system users on new processes and functionalities.

- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
