This role is responsible for the execution and delivery of projects, overseeing project planning, site operations, resource coordination, financial control, risk management, and team leadership to ensure safe, quality, and profitable project outcomes.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner including budgeting and end to end execution from sales handover to delivery.
- Plan and allocate resources for end-to-end project execution, including defining project scope, setting objectives and milestones for deliverables.
- Proactively assess the project milestones and develop counter measures / solutions to mitigate any risks for achieving the deliverables or resolve site issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of quality control by conducting site inspections to identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues proactively, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines, quality, and sales forecast.
- Conduct regular safety assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership: Manage a team of 7 project engineers to deliver project excellence and oversee their performance appraisals and developing project leadership capability.
Design and Engineering: Drive both design and engineering activities in accordance with contractual commitments and deliverables.
Financial Control:
- Monitor and report project, margin, cash flow, forecasting and manage costs control to meet project requirements.
- Lead contract administration, variable orders, claims, and commercial risk management.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with the sales forecast.
- Ensure project billing and payment activities remain on track.
Communication:
- Establish strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, external vendors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate project milestones, timelines, and deliverables in a timely fashion to stakeholders.
Cross-Collaboration:
- Lead project engineers to ensure proper handover to service maintenance team upon completion for DLP commencement.
- Minimum Requirements
- Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics
- Broad HVAC knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline
- University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
