Compassion Indonesia is looking for a Manager of Program Trainer, a strategic leader who will shape and oversee the national learning strategy for our Facilitating Church Partners (FCPs). This leader will ensure high-quality training, innovative learning solutions, and a healthy, empowered team culture that supports transformational ministry across the country.
As the Manager of Program Trainer, you will:
Lead & Develop the Program Training Team- Provide daily leadership, coaching, and professional development to Program Trainers.
- Build a culture of psychological safety, well-being, servant leadership, and continuous learning.
- Ensure team members deliver high-quality learning programs to church partners.
- Spearhead the development, contextualization, and improvement of learning modules, curricula, and tools.
- Direct learning program development (beyond operations), ensuring quality, scalability, and impact.
- Utilize technology and AI tools to enhance training effectiveness and reach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess needs and design effective learning solutions.
- Equip church partners in child development, child protection, and program implementation.
- Ensure reporting and follow-up on FCP training completion and program performance data.
- Improve training processes, efficiency, and delivery methods.
- Promote innovation, creativity, and modernization of learning practices.
- Participate in local and global learning communities to adopt best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training, capacity development, or learning roles.
- Proven expertise in online and face-to-face training delivery.
- Strong skills in developing modules, curriculum, syllabi, and learning frameworks.
- Tech-savvy, with familiarity in digital learning tools (AI tools a strong plus).
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, team development, and performance management.
- Ability to lead with both transformational leadership and servant leadership (to foster safety and well-being).
- Strong orientation toward innovation, process improvement, and strategic thinking.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time
- Commitment to child protection, Christ-centered ministry, and Compassion’s mission.
