Job Purpose:
This team member will oversee Saxbys product life cycle to deliver a rave worthy experience for guests of Saxbys, a Certified B Corp and pioneer of The Saxbys Experiential Learning Platform. The Manager of Product & Operations Implementation is an outgoing, detail-oriented, and disciplined team player who will support Cafe operations by overseeing the system’s supply chain and products. This team member will support both HQ and cafe level team members with standard operating procedures, training curriculum and resources so they will thrive in their role.
What You Will Own
- Own Sales & Operations Planning to ensure cafe product availability.
- Own the forecasting process, vendor management and ordering. Meet each challenge with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Oversee and maintain the product life cycle of ingredients and menu items. Ensure that products are safe, compliant, cost effective and efficient for both team members and operations.
- Oversee cafe inventory policies and procedures to support Operations and Student CEOs in maintaining supply for semester demand, and winding down inventory before semester breaks.
- Take ownership as the project manager for the quarterly product rollout process from start to finish.
- Be the finger on the pulse of Cafe sales, revenue, LTO performance and COGS. Analyze performance and identify strategies for improvement.
- Own the maintenance and troubleshooting of Saxbys inventory management system.
- Complete annual Trendcasts and partner with the Director of P&OI in creating annual Product Strategy.
- Own the semi-annual Pricing Analysis process and collaborate with the Associate Director of Brand Marketing for final approval.
- Support the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures for the department. Partner with the greater P&OI team on implementation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support the regular maintenance development of Training Curriculum for all Cafe levels.
- Partner with the Marketing, Recruiting and Roastery teams to support the sourcing, stocking and supply chain of merchandise and tools.
- Maintain the Saxbys nutritional guide and ensure that Saxbys menu & operations is within compliance in every new & existing market.
- Manage the Product Intern to support the efficiency of the department.
- Support the execution of HQ events, presentations and product showcases.

- 2-5 years of product management or supply chain management experience is preferred.
- Saxbys, coffee shop, cafe or QRS experience is a huge plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have excellent Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license.
