Title and Summary
Manager, Product Management
The Open Finance Data Access team is looking for a Manager, Data Connectivity to own connectivity performance across financial institution
(FI) integrations. This role is responsible for defining performance standards, setting metrics and targets, and driving the roadmap for
connection success rates, latency, durability, and partner experience.
The ideal candidate is passionate about open banking, highly analytical, and comfortable working across product, engineering, infrastructure, and support teams. This person will define what good looks like for FI connectivity, align stakeholders around priorities, and translate platform
needs into a clear roadmap, measurable outcomes, and better visibility through dashboards, APIs, and webhooks.
Overview
FI connectivity performance is a major driver of partner trust and end-user conversion. In this role, you will define and drive the performance
strategy for connectivity across key financial institutions and workflows, including the metrics, standards, and roadmap that shape platform
outcomes.
You will lead initiatives that strengthen production performance, reduce avoidable failures, and deliver clear health insights for internal teams
and external partners, while ensuring connectivity capabilities evolve in line with product and platform priorities.
Role
In this role, you will:
Own FI connectivity performance, including quality, reliability, and customer experience outcomes.
Define and track key health metrics such as success rate, latency, durability, and data quality.
Define the visibility capabilities needed to measure connectivity health through dashboards, alerts, APIs, and webhooks.
Partner across product and engineering teams to prioritize platform problems, align on tradeoffs, and drive roadmap execution.
Set resilience standards and performance expectations for the connectivity platform and drive initiatives that improve durability at scale.
Drive platform initiatives such as intelligent batching and workflow optimization to improve performance and reduce redundant FI API calls.
Maintain and improve visibility into data provider integrations, including important connection attributes and dependencies.
Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure teams have clear ownership, priorities, and operating plans.
Champion a customer-first, data-driven approach to connectivity optimization.

Be passionate about open banking and financial data connectivity.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Be able to identify patterns, diagnose issues, and turn insights into action.
Have experience owning API reliability and performance at scale across complex data connectivity platforms.
Be able to work effectively across product and engineering teams to solve platform-level problems and drive execution.
Communicate clearly and translate technical issues into business impact.
Have experience defining performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and driving performance optimization in large-scale distributed
systems.
Understand OAuth flows, legacy authentication methods, and common integration challenges.
Be familiar with data connectivity architectures, platform health metrics, and the tools used to assess reliability, latency, and data quality.
Be able to work through ambiguity, manage dependencies, and drive execution across teams.
Lead with empathy, clarity, and collaboration.

  • Experience setting resilience standards, SLAs, and measurable targets for connectivity performance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical issues into business impact; leadership and collaboration
