Title and Summary
Manager, Product Management (4 months maternity cover)
Overview:
The world is shifting digital - and that shift is only accelerating. Seeking a curious, analytical, and strategic self-starter to help Mastercard to scale online payments and merchant tokenisation product. This individual will play a key role within the European Product Management team by helping to manage the product strategy and scale it in the region. This individual will help drive our vision, provide product management support to expansion efforts to make online payments better, faster, and more secure.
• Are you a payments expert or have a deep knowledge of e-commerce landscape?• Have you defined and scaled product propositions across a global platform, established go-to-market strategies and implemented improvements within a product life cycle?• Have you developed a product roadmap?• Have you developed customer-facing documentation, aimed at promoting technical solutions to various internal and external stakeholders?• Have you worked with external customers to promote the value of technical solutions?• Are you motivated to stay on the cutting edge of digital payment and technology trends?

Role:
• Contribute to product strategy evolution based on data analysis, market trends and market feedback • Support go to market planning and seek common vision of it by working with European market teams• Own product readiness activities, such as passing product review process and driving resolution of product implementation defects when necessary• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure their alignment with product plans, objectives, and delivery timelines• Lead the migration project from a legacy API to a new API for Europe region:
Acting as the main point of contact for technical and project-related questions. Coordinating the migration pipeline. Managing progress tracking tools • Educate teams on using the tokenisation and authentication payment products, be a subject expert and an advocate of these solutions in the European Region• Review product performance, functionality and maintain and execute European product backlog intake process to drive continuous improvements and enhancements:
o Collect feedback from markets and other teams and establish prioritization via regular calls
o Present and justify new product features.• Track product backlog, releases and changes and make timely communication to all regional stakeholders • Lead Compliance program by establishing new cross-functional processes • Communicating product updates and operational alerts to regional teams to ensure timely awareness and alignment.• Engaging with customers to resolve technical issues, including bug fixes and guidance on best practices for API usage.
All About You:
• Product management knowledge, with significant experience working on product and proposition launches in multiple markets • Good understanding of how payments work, deep understanding of ecommerce checkout landscape, competition, and leading alternative payment solutions• Keen interest in the changing payments landscape, new technologies with a focus on excellent customer experience• Experience in gathering and translating customer feedback into actions to advance products and go-to-market strategies• Ability to understand and follow closely technical specifications, data definitions, API design, fast learner• Strong communications and interpersonal skills with ability to abstract complex technical terms to all level of stakeholders• Ability to create great customer facing documentation• Ability to build strong relationship skills with internal stakeholders and external partners• Experience creating and delivering presentations and communications for various audiences• Detail oriented and able to keep cross-functional projects moving against deadlines• Entrepreneurial spirit that can bring new ideas and wants to make an impact• Advanced university degree required, preferred in business/finance/engineering/mathematics
