We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Manager / Senior Manager, Product Development to join our Product team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of life insurance products from concept through launch, ensuring solutions meet customer needs, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Distribution, Actuarial, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions to deliver innovative product solutions that strengthen our market position and create value for customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of new products and enhancements from concept to launch, including business cases, product specifications, stakeholder alignment, and preparation of point of sales documents.
Support the development and execution of product roadmap for assigned product portfolios by identifying market opportunities, customer needs, industry trend and translating insights into actionable product initiatives and value propositions.
Collaborate and drive conversations with cross functional stakeholders (eg: Distribution, Actuarial, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance) to drive product initiatives, influence alignment, and resolve issues timely.
Partner with distribution teams to develop and execute sales campaigns that drive product adoption, customer value, and business growth.
Ensure effective execution of product initiatives through strong governance, risk oversight, and disciplined project delivery.
Support of other product initiatives and projects as required from time to time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
7+ years of progressive experience in life insurance product development, product strategy, pricing or other related roles.
Experience developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across multiple business functions.
Strong understanding of insurance product design, customer value propositions, market dynamics, competitive positioning and insurance process.
Good analytical, commercial, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, committed to fostering knowledge sharing and a high-performing team culture.
Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
