Manager, Product Development, Token Authentication Solutions
The role is part of the Token Authentication Solutions Global Product team within Mastercard Checkout Services (MACS) group. The Token Authentication Solutions global product team is at the core of defining and driving overall leadership in innovation and security in payments to meet evolving consumer needs, reduce fraud, and drive higher adoption of tokens and transaction authentication. Providing strong security and authentication services with best-in-class user experience is crucial to the success of this program. It builds on Mastercard’s leadership around cyber security, authentication, identity and biometrics capabilities.

Role
- Accelerate the technical readiness of Mastercard’s token authentication solutions and support early adopters in their implementation.
- Lead the definition of product technical requirements and the implementation of new authentication and security features for e-commerce customers including Click to Pay merchants, card on file merchants, issuers, and other use cases.
- Collaborate with regional product teams and other groups to integrate market and customer feedback into our products, define requirements, prioritize features, validate solutions, and ensure feature development and platform capabilities are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Define API interfaces, functional requirements, and product roadmap.
- Write detailed features and requirements to explain requirements to development team members.
- Own and lead cross-functional teams to deliver against the roadmap using Agile methodology, working with Engineering, UX, Testing, Project Management, Legal, Security, and other teams.
- Perform launch-related activities including customer onboarding, integration support, creating implementation guides, and training.
- Create effective customer presentations and work with tech writers on API documentation to support customer integrations.
- Define and track KPIs and analytics for reporting product performance, and to help inform decision making and future roadmap.
- Communicate the new features and roadmap to various stakeholders and provide updates to management.
All About You
- 7+ years of experience in digital global product development, product management or related functions, including experience launching new initiatives.
- Extensive experience in the definition, development, and delivery of highly scalable API-driven services in B2B, B2C, E-Commerce, Payments, or Financial Services industry.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop features and user interfaces that drive excellent customer experience, strong value proposition, and scale.
- Detail-oriented, problem-solver, metrics-focused and results-driven with ability to lead operational execution.
- Highly proactive, customer-focused, agile mindset and comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with multiple product, architecture and development teams across the organization to deliver on large scale, complex projects.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills with proven ability to work across business, UX, research and technology teams. Ability to work on and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Comfortable presenting and influencing different stakeholders, able to shift gears for audiences from different business disciplines of varying technical ability.
- Technical background and strong technical competence with the ability to read technical specifications and engage in technical tradeoff discussions.
- B.A./B.S. required.
Nice to Have:
- Agile product ownership or product manager that has delivered authentication services or digital payment capabilities.
- Technical competence in the areas of eCommerce checkout, digital wallets, or digital payment products.
- Technical competence in the areas of EMV, 3DS, tokenization, and other related specifications.
- Experience with delivering cloud-native applications, highly scalable and high-performance global platforms, and APIs.
