Position Summary:
The Wet Etch & Cleans Engineering Organization is seeking a strategic and collaborative Manager, New Product Development (NPD) to lead a team of engineers in developing innovative liquid filtration products for advanced semiconductor applications. This leadership role is responsible for setting technical direction, driving cross-functional execution, developing talent, and ensuring successful delivery of NPD programs from concept through commercialization.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing NPD engineering team, providing clear priorities, coaching, feedback, and career development support.
Set technical direction and execution strategy for NPD programs from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with business priorities, customer needs, and technology roadmaps.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with global engineering, manufacturing, quality, applications, marketing, and customer-facing teams to remove barriers and accelerate execution.
Establish project goals, milestones, resource plans, and risk mitigation actions to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement within the team.
Communicate program status, technical decisions, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Support global collaboration and customer engagement with up to 10% travel.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, talent development, and building an inclusive team culture.
Experience leading semiconductor process, filtration, purification, or advanced materials product development programs.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and make decisions in complex, fast-moving technical environments.
Strong project and portfolio management capability, including prioritization, resource planning, risk management, and executive-level communication.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and judgment to balance technical trade-offs, business needs, and customer expectations.
Solid understanding of DOE, statistical analysis, product qualification, and data-driven technical decision-making.
Experience using statistical and business tools such as Minitab, JMP, Power BI, or equivalent platforms to guide decisions and communicate insights.
Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics and influence diverse global stakeholders.
