Job Description Summary

Leads the overall planning and execution of procurement activities, managing a team of
procurement professionals. Develops and implements initiatives to achieve organisational
goals concerning procurement compliance, optimal procurement operations, and adherence
to regulatory standards. Oversees the management of complex procurement processes and
detailed documentation. Provides expert guidance during extensive procurement audits,
resolving sophisticated supplier queries and serving as the principal adviser to senior
leadership. Leads significant procurement strategy projects, ensuring optimal procurement
planning and risk management. Collaborates with senior stakeholders to enhance
procurement processes, systems, and reporting, while supporting and sponsoring major
process improvement initiatives. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of procurement
regulations and the organisation's systems, refining and creating procedures to meet
specialised and evolving needs. Ensures accurate procurement forecasting, contract
management, and compliance with procurement policies. Oversees the generation of
detailed procurement reports and leads the team in implementing best practices.
