About the RoleThe Process & Equipment Engineering Manager leads the global strategy and execution of equipment and process support for customization operations. This role manages a distributed team of engineers and technicians and is accountable for scalable support models, equipment reliability, capital planning, and technical readiness across multiple manufacturing sites.
What You'll DoLead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and engineers supporting global customization facilities
Set priorities, allocate resources, and build technical capability to support both current operations and future growth
Lead equipment specification, selection, procurement, validation, and acceptance in partnership with engineering and operations
Define and standardize global processes for equipment maintenance, support, and lifecycle management
Own the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) strategy, governance, and performance to enable consistent, data –driven support across multiple sites
Balance global standards with regional requirements where needed
Establish best practices for spare parts and inventory management across locations
Develop, implement, and maintain technical documentation for industrial equipment/processes
Partner cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and program management teams to ensure alignment on scope, timing, and deliverables
Provide technical training and hands-on support to team members and site personnel
Serve as the escalation point for complex equipment, automation, and process issues
Collaborate with the quality team on root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
Use manufacturing and equipment performance metrics to identity trends and drive continuous improvement
Produce and maintain documentation related to equipment operation, maintenance, and technical procedures
Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical and performance issues
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years in a management role; manufacturing equipment experience strongly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information for diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in environments with change and ambiguity, proposing solutions with limited guidance
Proficiency in reading and developing electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics and diagrams
Proven experience troubleshooting complex process and machine issues
Self-directed and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20%
