About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, high-IQ, optimistic professional with a bias for action who can lead a team of 3-4 people and oversee costing, scheduling, billing, and comprehensive planning for multiple housing complexes.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and monitor project schedules (Master Schedules & Monthly Schedules) using tools like MS Project/Primavera.
- Identify critical paths, ensure alignments with timelines and propose corrective measures for delays.
2. Quantity Surveying & Billing
- Review and finalize BOQs, cost estimates, BBS and project budgets.
- Validate contractor bills, measurements, and certification as per contracts.
- Track material consumption vs. estimates to control wastage.
- Assist in tendering, rate analysis, and contract documentation.
- Review and validate checklists and ensure compliance at all sites.
3. Civil Project Management
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Conduct drawing reviews for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance on drawings, specifications, and execution challenges.
- Monitor progress against milestones and escalate risks proactively.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress and quality standards.
4. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and mentor planning, QS, and billing teams.
- Allocate tasks, set KRAs, and monitor performance.
- Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams (design, procurement, site).
- Ensure proper documentation with respect to operational data at site and HO.
- Ensure transparent communication with clients, consultants, and management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in quantity surveying, estimation, and billing processes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project).
- Sound knowledge of practical aspects of construction.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Master’s in Construction/Project Management (preferred).
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in planning, QS, and billing for civil/infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, MS Excel, and AutoCAD.
- Site experience is preferred.
CTC : Up to ₹10-12 lacs per annum + corporate medical insurance
