Netflix Korea Photo & AV Studio team is seeking a creative and experienced Manager to lead the development and execution of photo and AV assets for Netflix original titles. In this role, you will shape the visual identity of our titles from the production phase onward, driving fan excitement and supporting 360-degree marketing campaigns.

The Role

The Photo & AV Studio Manager will lead the on-set coverage strategy of Korean Original title productions, including series, films, unscripted and live. With strong cross-functional partnerships across multiple departments — from marketing to product and content — the Manager is responsible for bringing to life the on-set creative needs of a title campaign.

 

The role requires a high level of creativity, an inquisitive and innovative personality, strong project management, and an editorial background attuned to great visual storytelling. This role works across photo and video content, utilizing knowledge of TV and film productions, talent and filmmaker relations, marketing strategies to shape, enhance and support Marketing and Publicity campaigns across the globe.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop content strategies in collaboration with your cross-functional partners in Marketing, Publicity, Social, Product and Content to align on the title-specific creative needs

  • Leverage your deep editorial and creative expertise to solve business opportunities through authentic visual storytelling and compelling photo and audio-visual assets

  • Optimize the production cycle to meet the creative needs, while driving seamless communication from set to key stakeholders   

  • Lead the creation of engaging narratives that tell the “story behind the story”, conducting in-depth interviews with on-screen and off-screen talent to shape narratives that elevate the campaign

  • Read scripts to plan, hire, and supervise unit photographers and video crews for capturing the best on-set assets, while fostering strong industry relationships

  • Produce photo and video content for editorial photoshoots and events that drive campaign messaging and foster conversation

Skills and Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a content creator, creative producer, art director at an entertainment and lifestyle company, media outlet. Marketing and/ or PR experience is a plus

  • Strong creative eye with a keen understanding of visual storytelling in the service of audience-first communication strategies

  • Understand and have contacts in the photography and video industries in Korea and working knowledge of digital media file specs and size formats

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

  • Business level fluency in English is required
