What we’re looking for: 

Nexamp is hiring for a Manager, People Operations, where you will lead a talented team of HR professionals to ensure that our People practices are executed with efficiency and precision.  They will oversee critical areas, including compensation, benefits, payroll, headcount planning, compliance, and immigration.  A large focus for this position will be to leverage advanced analytical skills to manage and interpret employee life cycle data, covering everything from onboarding to offboarding.   

 The ideal candidate will have experience working in HR operations and have a strong track record of developing comprehensive People analytics dashboards that monitor key HR metrics and offer actionable insights for leadership.  Additionally, they will be instrumental in refining our compensation practices to support headcount planning strategies. 

 You will report to the SVP, People and work hybrid (3 days a week) from our Boston Headquarters. 

What you’ll do:  

People Analytics & Insights:

  • Develop and lead the People analytics function, creating a framework for monitoring HR metrics and trends that provide actionable insights for decision-making. 
  • Assess current systems and tools, recommending improvements to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards to give senior leadership clear visibility into workforce trends, performance, and strategic priorities.
  • Use data to recommend and drive solutions that improve operational efficiency and the employee experience. 

Compensation Alignment & Strategy:

  • Lead efforts to align compensation practices with headcount planning, focusing on consistency and future growth. 
  • Provide expertise on compensation strategies that are market-competitive and sustainable for long-term business objectives. 

Benefits, Payroll and Compliance:

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits & payroll, ensuring they align with business needs and are compliant with all relevant regulations. 
  • Ensure the team is effectively managing day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional service to employees.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with all legal requirements and industry best practices. 

Process Improvement: 

  • Lead initiatives to optimize and automate core HR functions, focusing on process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies to reduce administrative burden and streamline HR service delivery. 

Team Leadership & Development: 

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, ensuring HR services are delivered with a focus on quality and efficiency 

What you’ll bring: 

  • 4-5 years of experience in HR operations, with specific focus on compensation & analytics.
  • 1+ years leading a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building and implementing People analytics functions, developing metrics, and creating dashboards for leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and compensation structures; experience aligning compensation structures with business strategies a plus.
  • Familiarity with benefits & payroll.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data visualization tools preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.   
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality. 
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions. 
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry. 
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
