The Role
Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager/Payroll Manager to join our team, to support payroll operations across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll functions.  

 Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Process payroll for APAC countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.  
  • Verify and input payroll data, including salaries, overtime, and deductions, into the payroll system.  
  • Assist in payroll calculations and resolve discrepancies related to payroll processing.  
  • Ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with tax and social security regulations in each country.  
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll-related issues or queries.  
  • Assist with month-end payroll reports and audits as required.  
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and address any payroll-related issues in a timely manner.  
  • Support the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings and statutory contributions for the APAC region.  

Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in one or more APAC countries.  
  • Familiarity with payroll software and payroll practices in a centralized environment.  
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately.  
  • Basic understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in APAC countries.  
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.  
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.  
  • Proactive and resourceful in solving payroll-related issues.  
  • Adaptable to changing processes and a continuous improvement mindset.
