Brands, events, and personalities surrounding the books' space have never mattered more in our culture, and BOTM sits at the intersection of these forces. We see a major opportunity to further extend our brand into these spaces, and we are seeking a Manager to lead Brand Partnerships, Events, and PR for Book of the Month. Early efforts, from author launch parties with major publishers to brand campaigns like Nobody Reads Anymore that earned national press, have shown us what this function can become with a dedicated owner.

You will represent the brand throughout the publishing and media world, cultivating relationships with partners, journalists, and cultural tastemakers, and your work will be measured by its impact on brand awareness and growth. We are a small team with big ambitions, and your contributions will be visible from day one.

- Leading marketing strategy and generating social media content for each partnership and event, driving brand awareness and excitement across relevant audiences (members, industry partners, paid channels, etc.)
- Developing recaps and reporting, setting performance targets/KPIs, and drawing actionable conclusions to inform future strategy and tie outcomes back to brand and growth goals.
- Serve as a professional representative of Book of the Month by interfacing with industry partners at internal and external events, developing and maintaining relationships with the industry.
- Cultivate relationships with media, journalists, and cultural tastemakers to secure PR coverage that builds awareness for Book of the Month and supports brand - and campaign - level goals.
- Acting as a bridge between the Brand, Editorial, and Growth teams to ensure we are meeting both our membership growth and industry relations objectives.
