Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Manager to lead the P2P Operations Enablement team supporting the Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) organization within PayPal’s CAO function. This team enables employees across PayPal to buy goods and services by serving as the universal front door for purchasing, providing intake, guidance, and execution support across the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle.
The Manager will partner closely with internal GSP teams, Business Units (BUs), and cross-functional stakeholders—including but not limited to Legal, FP&A, IT, and M&A—to deliver efficient, compliant, and customer-centric procurement experiences while ensuring PayPal teams can effectively navigate buying tools, processes, and policies.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional projects and programs to optimize operational processes.
  • Identify issues and recommend best practices for process improvements.
  • Partner with various departments to understand business trends.
  • Drive business or process improvements within the function.
  • Provide oversight and support for planning and management of financial, budget, and headcount targets.
  • Act as a point of contact or liaison between business leadership, staff, and other key partners.
  • Promote transparent reporting and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by defining key metrics and evaluating progress.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing P2P Operations Enablement team responsible for enabling PayPal employees to purchase goods and services through effective intake, triage, and support.
  • Serve as the primary entry point (“universal front door”) for buying at PayPal, guiding employees and Business Units through procurement tools, processes, and policies.
  • Partner with Global Sourcing & Procurement teams to ensure alignment across sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, purchasing, and payment workflows.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Business Units, providing consultative support and helping stakeholders navigate procurement solutions and requirements.
  • Collaborate with M&A teams to support procurement due diligence, supplier transitions, and integration activities.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of procurement systems, intake channels, and tools, with a clear understanding of how they connect across the end-to-end P2P lifecycle.
  • Drive operational excellence through detailed review of requests, adherence to policies and controls, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor team performance, manage workload prioritization, and implement scalable processes that enhance the end-user buying experience and reduce friction in the purchasing process.
  • Foster a culture of customer support, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Represent GSP and P2P Operations Enablement as a visible and approachable partner to cross-functional stakeholders, reinforcing procurement as a strategic enabler to the business.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing operations, P2P operations, customer support, or related functions.
  • 2+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle, intake processes, and purchasing tools/systems.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and serving as a customer-facing resource for internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex procurement processes into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Experience supporting M&A activities, integrations, or transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Proven ability to balance operational execution with strategic process improvements.

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:

Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
