About the Role:

Finix is hiring a Manager of Outbound Sales to build and lead our outbound sales team from the ground up. This leader will own the outbound motion, cold calling, email, and multi-channel outreach, and build a high-performing team that generates pipeline and closes new business. You'll have the opportunity to define the strategy, hire your team, and build the playbook, with meaningful autonomy to shape how outbound works at Finix.
This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who has built outbound engines before, knows how to drive activity and pipeline predictability, and is energized by a zero-to-one build.

You Will:

  • Build and lead Finix's outbound sales team, starting with hiring and developing a team of Account Executives focused on the outbound motion
  • Define and execute the outbound strategy across cold calling, email, and multi-channel outreach to generate qualified pipeline.
  • Drive pipeline growth, deal management, and forecasting to create revenue predictability.
  • Develop the outbound playbook, cadences, and best practices, and continuously refine based on performance data.
  • Develop customer insights from quantitative and qualitative inputs to better segment and target prospects.
  • Manage a budget and optimize weekly, monthly, and quarterly against key metrics.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, product, customer delivery, and other functions to deliver on company goals.

You are:

  • A data-driven leader with a test-and-learn approach to building and optimizing outbound motions.
  • Experienced in building outbound engines and driving activity, pipeline, and conversion metrics.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of independence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A strong communicator who can execute strategy-based, data-supported recommendations.
  • A team player with a desire to jump in and get your hands dirty as needed.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or payments, with deep knowledge of the outbound motion.
  • 2+ years in a sales leadership role, building and managing outbound or inside sales teams, with a track record of recruiting, retaining, and motivating talent.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling an outbound sales function.
  • Strong analytic mindset and the ability to communicate and execute data-supported strategy.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and influencing skills, including experience with senior leadership.
  • Strong project management skills, detail orientation and interpersonal skills.
