SMX is seeking a skilled Manager / Operations Manager to be part of our Information Technology Team supporting NAWCAD at Patuxent River, MD. The Operations Manager tasking includes leading, managing and administering contractual delivery of services to our customer as the main point of contact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, status, budget, and schedules
- Perform management, technical, or business case analysis
- Collect, compete, organize, and interpret data relating to project acquisition and product programs
- Track program/project status, budgets, resources, and schedules
Required Skills:
- Clearance Required: Secret, Secret to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Ability to maintain a Secret Clearance
- Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- 7+ years of related IT experience required
Desired Skills:
- Past DoD Program Management experience
- PMP certification
