About Jeeny:

Jeeny is a leading ride-hailing platform that strives to revolutionize daily commuting and transportation. Our app connects users with their preferred modes of transportation, making mobility accessible, convenient, and affordable for all.

We are a joint venture between MEIG (Middle East Internet Group), Rocket Internet, and IMENA. Since our inception, we have grown exponentially and currently operate in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

At Jeeny, we value innovation, teamwork, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. Join us in our mission to transform the transportation landscape.

About the Role:
Own online payments end to end: commercial terms, cost, product roadmap, and operational reliability. Directly accountable for online payment penetration and blended cost of acceptance.

Requirements
  • Own commercial relationships with PSPs, acquirers, and payment gateways: negotiate MDR and scheme/interchange pass-through, volume tiers, settlement cycles, and SLAs; run RFPs and renewals.
  • Reduce blended cost of payments through routing optimization, provider mix, and fee-structure renegotiation. Own the bank charges line.
  • Increase online payment penetration vs. cash: checkout conversion, authorization rates, retry and cascading logic, tokenization and card-on-file, wallet and Apple Pay coverage.
  • Lead the payments product roadmap in partnership with Product and Engineering: prioritization, requirements, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Own payment incident troubleshooting: failure-code diagnosis, provider escalation, root-cause analysis, and prevention.
  • Own reconciliation integrity, chargeback and dispute handling with deadline tracking, and settlement accuracy across entities.
  • Maintain the regulatory and compliance view across KSA and Jordan (SAMA, PCI-DSS, local acquiring requirements).
  • Report monthly on penetration, auth rates, cost per transaction, and savings delivered.

Preferred Experience:

  • 5 - 8 years in payments, with at least 3 years merchant-side at a high-volume digital business (ride-hailing, food delivery, e-commerce, travel, or fintech).
  • Demonstrated track record of reducing MDR or cost of acceptance, and of lifting authorization or conversion rates, with quantified outcomes.
  • Direct experience negotiating with acquirers and PSPs in KSA; working knowledge of mada, local acquiring economics, and the KSA PSP landscape.
  • Fluency in payments mechanics: MDR decomposition, interchange, 3DS/SCA, tokenization, settlement and chargeback flows.
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering on payment integrations; comfortable with API-level discussion without needing to code.
  • Prior work with a bank acquirer or PSP from the provider side.
  • Exposure to loyalty or wallet integrations and embedded payment partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills: MS Excel and dashboarding preferred; able to build the business case for a routing or provider change.
  • Arabic and English preferred. KSA market experience required.
