MANAGER - NVE PE, TACTICAL IE

Expected to drive ENG Ops key charter of "Lead with urgency in tactical execution with passion for excellence on tactical IE and inventory mgt" in tactical space with ability to identify risks ahead and provide resolutions/mitigations. 

The material in scope can be, but not limited to, from Test Chip Vehicle (TCV), New Production Introduction (NPI) or High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). The cross functional teams in scope can be and not limited to, FAB, BE, PE, GSC (POM, TSP, TDP, SSP), GQ and BU.

Ensure product (PSPT/PCT, MAM attr, nomenclature etc) & manufacturing (Master Data, ENTBOM, wafer map etc) dataset being setup by partner prior to demand line loading and when changes are required.

Drive or engage cross functional workstream in managing material supply throughout the NPI phases with alignment with PDTL/EEM in term of priority with an E2E mindset and lead with urgency. Install business process and/or automation to ensure the right set of material being deployed for the right demand at the right time.

Collaborate with cross functional teams in installing correct material disposition and appropriate control in handling material exception or engineering build as well as releasing QA Hold material on time. To be an SME in investigating and debugging logistic/setup issues related to our material within any manufacturing lines.

Believer in documentation is one of the best methods to retain knowledge in the organization. In addition, able to present in the meeting and taking pride as mentor in training team members. Always leverage on AI/ML/Automation in improving team productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to driving DIO Inventory on our material in alignment with Micron's Goals.

Provide Tactical Direction and Communication

• Actively collaborate with the FAB/BE/BU/TD/PE/GSC/GQ network to reach aligned decisions.
• Maintain an open and ongoing dialogue with local and global counterparts on deliverable priorities.
• Provide timely high–level update to management on NPI/HVM/DIO/NRG status, issues, and recommendations.

AI/ML/Automation Expectation

• Experience in the areas: statistical modeling, feature extraction and analysis, supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning. Exposure to the semiconductor industry is a plus but not a requirement.
• Ability to extract data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.
• Good software development skills with proven industrialize projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with or desire to learn Machine learning and other advanced analytical methods
• Fluency in at least 4 or more:
  • Python and/or R
  • pySpark and/or SparkR and/or SparklyR
  • Hadoop (Hive, Spark, HBase)
  • Teradata and/or another SQL databases
  • Tensorflow, and/or other statistical software including scripting capability for automating analyses
  • SSIS, ETL
  • Javascript, AngularJS 2.0, Tableau
• Experience working with time-series data, images, semi-supervised learning, and data with frequently changing distributions is a plus
• Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus

 Successful candidates for this position will have:

• Achieved at least a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
• A minimum 10 years' experience working on product planning in sophisticated technology company.
• Deep understanding of product planning from Development to New Product Introduction to High Volume Manufacturing to End of Life.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in cross-functional setups.
• Demonstrated to be a structure goal-oriented person, able to make data driven decisions in complex situation.
• Proven diligence in following plans while being able to adapt to new boundary conditions.
• Experience in SAP will be advantage.
• Experience in full back-end assembly process from wafer in to multi-stacks die package tape & reel out will be added advantage.
