The Financial Systems team is responsible for the administration of OneStream Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solution and support of internal and external financial reporting requirements. This team partners with different business functions and continually looks for opportunities to improve processes that enhance user experience and presentation of data within the financial applications.
The Financial Systems Manager (m/f/d) will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the OneStream solutions and the design and administration of ongoing OneStream enhancements. This role will collaborate with Enterprise business functions and Business Unit Finance teams to define and document business requirements that deliver cross-functional solutions for Financial Reporting across the enterprise.
This position will also partner with Corporate Finance leadership to provide technical expertise for streamlining global processes and driving efficiencies through the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing development, maintenance, and administration of the OneStream solutions.
- Understand and interpret cross-functional business requirements and lead effectively the implementation of solutions in One Stream.
- Demonstrate understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting requirements
- Build relationships with functional teams within the global organization to provide support, respond to system related questions, and resolve system concerns and issues.
- Act as an in-house technical subject matter expert on One Stream and lead troubleshooting efforts on systems issues as they arise and provide timely solution and feedback.
- Create custom reports, dashboards, and workflows utilized for leadership reviews.
- Partner with Corporate Accounting and FP&A teams during monthly close, forecast and budget processes, to ensure timely and accurate external and internal reporting deliverables
- Lead and provide technical expertise for special projects requested by Finance leadership.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures, desk manuals, training materials, and supporting documents.
- Provide end user trainings regularly and support global users with systems related questions.
- Responsible for internal and external audits; maintaining effective internal controls by ensuring SOX compliance and data integrity.
- Manage user security and access rights in accordance with SOX requirements, and documenting systems and security changes in a timely manner.
- Actively explore current system functionalities and new releases for potential areas of improvement.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Finance/IT.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Systems and Technology Solutions with 5+ years system maintenance experience.
- Experience working with OneStream, Oracle Cloud or Hyperion applications and maintenance of metadata, business rules and reports.
- Proficient in MS office and SmartView/Quick View.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as VB.Net.
- Basic understanding of US GAAP reporting requirements and financial close process to support Actual, Forecast and Budget reporting.
- Flexible problem-solving skills, with ability to “connect the dots” even in areas outside one’s primary subject matter expertise.
- Effective communicator with ability to translate and present complex issues and solutions to support both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A visionary with ability to utilize experience and systems knowledge to streamline and improve processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in deadline driven environment with attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to perform task independently with minimal supervision.
