The Manager of Media Reporting will be responsible for overseeing all reporting activities within our retail media network. This role will focus on ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful data analysis and reporting that supports business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, reporting, and performance measurement within the retail or media sectors.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive reporting frameworks that track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the retail media network.

  • Ensure reports are accurate, actionable, and aligned with business goals.

Business Insights:

  • Provide actionable insights through data analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.

  • Present findings to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Developing Talent and Teammate Engagement

  • Build effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.

  • Manage execution responsibilities and workload of direct reports to achieve department deliverables on time and with quality.

  • Provide direct reports with timely and regular feedback to support teammate development/ growth in role.

  • Develop talent on your team to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals

  • Partner with department leadership to establish strategic staffing and succession plans; successfully deliver on proposed staffing objectives.

  • Drive the talent selection process in alignment with the company’s talent philosophy for open direct reporting positions; Ensure all direct reports are appropriately trained and on-boarded.

  • Drive engagement by creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives; focus on voice of teammate data (e.g., Engagement & Pulse results), partnering with organization leadership to drive necessary changes.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and finance, to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions that support their objectives.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.

  • Implement best practices in data visualization and reporting.

Ad Hoc Reporting:

  • Support various departments with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests, ensuring data-driven decisions are made across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field

  • 5-7 years experience

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or a related role, preferably within the retail or media industry.

  • Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) or equivalent.

  • Google Analytics Certification or other relevant analytics certifications.

  • Training in advanced data visualization techniques and tools.

  • Training in data governance and compliance best practices.

  • Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

  • Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams.

  • Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Targeted Pay Range: $83,000 - $138,200. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
