The Manager, Marketing Operations plays a key role within our DTC marketing team, to oversee the efficient execution of marketing initiatives and ensure seamless alignment between marketing strategies and operational processes. They will have a strong understanding of marketing technologies, data management, and process optimization, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
This role requires an organized, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to oversee the creative process, track campaign performance, manage budgets, and support overall marketing operations. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Samsung and key stakeholders within the DTC organization including Sales and Site Merchandising, to deliver impactful campaigns and scalable marketing solutions that elevate our brand and drive commercial success.

Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Creative & Campaign Management: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive tracking systems for all marketing campaigns

  • Maintains a 52-week marketing calendar, ensuring key inputs across DTC marketing initiatives

  • Direct creative development process with agency partner, setting daily priorities and ensuring on-time, in full delivery of requests

  • Generate detailed reports on campaign deliverables and KPIs to highlight  areas of success and opportunities for improvement

  • Work with HQ Demand Generation team, developing strong partnership to unlock additional opportunities for local campaigns

  • Communicate with the leadership team on key deliverables and objectives, campaign reports and post mortems

 

Project Management: 

  • Lead and manage marketing initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives achieved

  • Utilize project management tools to track progress and manage resources effectively

  • Ensure regular communication of project status, risks, and opportunities to all stakeholders

  • Manage and collaborate with agency partners, including daily communications, management of deliverables and workback schedules, reporting, budget, and quarterly business reviews

 

Operations Management:

  • Oversee budget tracking and communication, including management of all plan proposals and invoice payments, ensuring efficient operations within the marketing team

  • Ensure marketing operations are strategically aligned with organizational goals and objectives, facilitating seamless execution and impactful results

  • Strong communications skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment/buy in

 

Logistics & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, in-full execution of marketing campaigns

  • Manage logistics related to marketing events, ensuring all elements are seamlessly integrated

  • Oversee the distribution of marketing materials and resources to relevant stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Proficient in marketing fundamentals, with particular focus on project management frameworks.

  • Expertise in campaign management, including setting key performance metrics, analysis of campaign performance, and delivering insights to inform decision marking and optimize future marketing efforts.

  • Strong understanding of creative and copy design principles, to be able to direct development and provide ongoing recommendations and feedback for improvement to the creative agency.

  • Capabilities managing marketing budgets, ensuring programs are executed on time, in full, and within established budgets.

  • Proactive, collaborative and communicative team player with strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills.

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, with a proven track record of process optimization and technology management.

  • Strong understanding of marketing technologies (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics platforms ie Adobe Analytics).

  • Proven experience of successfully managing agency partners

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing talent.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving operational excellence and measurable outcomes.

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $85,000 to $117,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
