Job Summary
The Manager, Marketing Implementation supports executional excellence across the Consumer Health Marketing team, helping ensure marketing strategies, programs and projects move efficiently from planning through execution and fulfillment. This role provides operational leadership across marketing workflows, systems, budgets, vendors and fulfillment activities, creating the structure, visibility and accountability needed to deliver high-quality programs and a positive experience for pharmacies, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Leads the traffic management and operational coordination of Consumer Health marketing programs and projects, establishing clear workflows, priorities, timelines, owners, dependencies and deliverables
- Serves as the primary marketing liaison for technology partners supporting conference and event-related product ordering, reporting and fulfillment capabilities, ensuring system readiness, operational execution, data accuracy, customer satisfaction, and continuous process improvement
- Maintains visibility to the marketing portfolio through project plans, status reporting, workflow tools and performance dashboards; communicates progress, risks, decisions and required actions to marketing leadership and cross-functional partners
- Serves as a subject matter expert for key systems and tools used by the Consumer Health Marketing team, supporting system adoption, training, documentation, governance and consistent use
- Partners with Marketing, Category Management, Operations, Finance, Inventory Management, IT and other stakeholders to coordinate program requirements and support accurate, timely execution
- Evaluates marketing workflows and advocates for process improvements that make work simpler, faster and more effective while strengthening controls, accountability and the stakeholder experience
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedures, process documentation, templates, training materials and other resources that enable consistent execution and effective onboarding
- Supervises marketing budgets, purchase orders, invoices and financial tracking, working with Finance and business partners to support accurate forecasting, reconciliation, timely payment and adherence to financial controls
- Oversees operational readiness for marketing program fulfillment, including inventory availability, shipment coordination, issue resolution and stakeholder communications
- Monitors fulfillment quality, timeliness and service performance to help ensure pharmacies and other program participants receive an accurate, consistent and positive experience
- Leads issue resolution and root-cause analysis for executional challenges, implementing corrective and preventive actions where appropriate
- Supports change management for new marketing processes, systems and capabilities, helping team members understand the purpose, requirements and expected business impact of changes
- Supervises assigned employees or operational resources, providing clear direction, coaching, development and performance feedback while fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, operations, project management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred
- 4 to 8 years of experience in marketing operations, program management, marketing implementation, or a related discipline preferred
- Previous experience coordinating multiple concurrent marketing programs or projects with competing priorities, cross-functional dependencies and firm delivery deadlines
- Experience managing marketing workflows, project intake, resource planning, traffic management or production schedules, preferred
- Experience with budget management, forecasting, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation and financial reporting, preferred
- People leadership or experience supervising, coaching or directing the work of employees or contractors, preferred
- Experience in consumer health, retail, consumer packaged goods or agency environment, preferred
