Job Description

  • Challenge yourself to drive EComm marketing strategy and partnerships
  • Play a pivotal role in leading a team to transform insight-led strategies into actionable plans and partner outcomes
  • 14-month fixed-term maternity leave opportunity based at our Mascot Corporate Campus

Qantas has always been dedicated to going above and beyond for their customers – both in the air, and on the ground. At Qantas Loyalty, we’re a huge part of that commitment. By taking the time to recognise and reward our members, we build stronger relationships with the people who matter most.

As the Manager EComm Marketing, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager EComm, you will play a lead role in driving marketing strategy, insights, and campaign plans across the ECommerce businesses, while managing one direct report. Working closely with Commercial teams, you will identify growth opportunities across owned products and partnerships, transform insight-led activity plans into integrated briefs for the Marketing Centre of Excellence (CoE), negotiate partner support, scope new initiatives, and translate performance analytics into actionable optimisations.

Serving as the primary contact for senior external partners and key internal stakeholders—including Finance, Product, Legal, and the broader Retail tribe—you will provide leadership and coaching for your direct report to ensure all marketing initiatives deliver strong commercial return and drive member engagement for Qantas Loyalty.

What you'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in external partner relationship management and collaborating with internal commercial, product, and agency stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated track record in executing end-to-end marketing activity, converting strategic direction into actionable campaign briefs for execution teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • High-level strategic and analytical capabilities with a focus on prioritising outcomes for commercial return.
  • Natural curiosity regarding campaign performance drivers ("the why and the what") and how marketing can capitalise on current market trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Highly organised, proactive, dynamic, and experienced in team development and coaching.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with senior executive levels both internally and externally.
  • Experience managing legal, commercial, regulatory, and branding requirements. We’re committed to helping you build your career. With the support of your current manager, let’s start a conversation around making your next move.
