Position Overview
Resolve Pain Solutions is seeking a Manager, Market Development & Strategic Projects to directly advance high-priority growth and operational initiatives across the company’s multi-site specialty practice platform. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role will take hands-on responsibility for moving initiatives from concept to operational reality, including ASC and facility opportunities, laboratory and compliance work, new services, technology deployments, and vendor-enabled operating improvements.
This is an execution role, not a passive project-coordination role. The Manager will do the analysis, build the business case, work with vendors and site teams, solve implementation barriers, prepare materials for decisions, and stay engaged through launch and performance follow-up. The Manager will be expected to own deliverables and produce tangible results.
The Manager will work closely with the Chief of Staff, senior leadership, physicians, Regional Business Managers, finance, compliance, IT, revenue cycle, laboratory leadership, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Growth Execution
  • Identify, evaluate, and advance market-growth, capacity-expansion, ASC, facility, service-line, and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, operational assessment, and financial analysis to determine demand, feasibility, staffing requirements, risks, and expected impact.
  • Build business cases and recommendations that enable leadership to make clear go/no-go decisions.
  • Personally drive approved initiatives forward by completing analysis, coordinating required actions, resolving barriers, and ensuring implementation occurs.

ASC, Facility & Capacity Initiatives
  • Lead hands-on development of ASC, facility, and capacity initiatives, including demand assessment, provider coverage plans, staffing models, workflow design, equipment needs, and launch requirements.
  • Develop and validate operating and financial assumptions; identify gaps and propose corrective actions when results diverge from plan.
  • Work directly with site teams, physicians, vendors, and facilities partners to prepare locations and workflows for launch or expansion.
  • Prepare concise decision materials and implementation recommendations for leadership.

Operational Improvement & Implementation
  • Take direct ownership of assigned operating improvements, including patient-access, capacity, laboratory, clinical-workflow, revenue-cycle, and site-readiness initiatives.
  • Develop practical workflows, tools, training materials, readiness checklists, and local implementation plans that enable Regional Business Managers to execute consistently.
  • Visit sites as needed to observe current-state operations, solve implementation issues, support change adoption, and verify that approved changes are working.
  • Monitor outcomes after launch and adjust the approach when performance, adoption, or compliance falls short.

Technology, Vendor & Service-Line Development
  • Evaluate and implement vendor, technology, and service-line opportunities by defining the operational problem, scope, expected benefit, cost, implementation needs, and success measures.
  • Lead hands-on vendor interactions, requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, training, rollout, and early performance monitoring.
  • Advance initiatives involving laboratory interfaces, clinical workflows, behavioral-health screening, documentation/note locking, UDS standardization, EMG/NCV, pharmacy workflows, and related programs as assigned.
  • Recommend whether to continue, pause, stop, scale, or redesign initiatives based on evidence and operating results.

Execution Reporting & Accountability
  • Maintain simple, action-oriented plans for assigned initiatives, including deliverables, owners, deadlines, barriers, and decisions required.
  • Prepare concise executive updates that focus on progress, results, risks, and specific decisions or support needed.
  • Track measurable outcomes, including access, utilization, financial performance, compliance readiness, adoption, and efficiency, and remain accountable through benefits realization.
Qualifications
Required
  • 4–7 years of experience in healthcare operations, market development, practice management, management consulting, healthcare development, or implementation-oriented program/project work.
  • Demonstrated experience personally executing complex initiatives in a multi-site or healthcare-services environment.
  • Experience developing business cases, operating analyses, implementation plans, financial assumptions, or executive decision materials.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, work in the field, and travel regularly to practice markets, facilities, and vendor meetings.

Preferred
  • Experience in multi-site physician-practice operations, ambulatory care, pain management, ASCs, laboratory operations, or healthcare services.
  • Experience with ASC or clinic expansion, facility projects, service-line launches, compliance readiness, laboratory operations, IT, revenue cycle, or vendor implementation.
  • Familiarity with healthcare licensing, CLIA, inspection readiness, or clinical-workflow environments.
  • Experience using workflow, data-reporting, and productivity tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana, Microsoft Project, Excel, or Power BI.

Key Attributes
  • Hands-on, resourceful operator who turns ambiguous priorities into completed work.
  • Comfortable working in the details while maintaining a clear view of commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Willing to visit sites, work directly with frontline teams, and solve barriers rather than only escalate them.
  • Practical judgment about when to act independently and when an executive decision is required.
  • Clear written communicator with persistent follow-through and strong ownership mentality.
