About the Role

The Salesforce Tech Ops Architect is part of Mattel’s Global Technology Organization (GTO) and serves as the senior technical authority for operational stability, production readiness, and long-term support of the Salesforce Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud platform. This role is embedded in an active, ongoing Salesforce CG Cloud program and works closely with the project delivery team while designing, establishing, and leading the Salesforce Technology Operations (Tech Ops) function.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Tech Ops Architect for Salesforce CG Cloud, owning operational architecture and support readiness.

• Partner with the delivery team during implementation to ensure solutions are supportable and scalable.

• Define production readiness standards, support models, escalation paths, and SLAs.

• Act as the highest-level escalation point for complex production incidents.

• Lead incident triage, root cause analysis, and preventive remediation.

• Design and establish the Salesforce Tech Ops function, including runbooks and operating procedures.

• Lead and mentor Tech Ops engineers and analysts.

• Oversee release readiness, deployment validation, and post-release stabilization.

• Support integrations and validate end-to-end data flows.

• Provide operational reporting and risk updates to leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 7+ years of Salesforce experience across architecture or operations roles.

• Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations through go-live.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and integrations.

• Experience with incident management, RCA, and release governance.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Sales Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud).

• Experience with MuleSoft or integration tooling.

• Experience building or leading Tech Ops teams.

• Familiarity with SOX and compliance requirements.
