YOUR MISSIONAs a Manager IT SAP Finance & Controlling, you are the go-to consultant on technical solution design and implementation to PUMA stakeholders on the European and Global Region. Your focus is on Finance and Controlling processes for our direct to customer and wholesale business. Your challenge is to ensure that the Finance & Controlling solutions designed with your partners work effectively, are scalable and support our goal of being the fastest sport brand in the world.
Role Purpose:
Own the technical design, configuration, and integration of Finance & Controlling processes across the global SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring seamless connectivity with related applications such as Treasury, e‑invoicing, and complementary Finance solutions.
Contribute to the Digital & Technology Finance & Controlling organization, driving the evolution of the global S/4HANA Fashion template and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across markets and business units.
Serve as the SAP FI/CO technical authority, guiding Finance key users and Business Process Managers through all technical phases of project delivery—from design and build to testing, deployment, and hypercare—while ensuring robust ongoing support and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP rollout projects end-to-end: from design and configuration to testing and go-live.
Deliver technical implementations in FI/CO, ensuring alignment with business requirements, best practices, and global template standards.
Translate business needs into smart, scalable FI/CO solutions
Stay current with SAP innovations, recommending enhancements to improve functional and technical design.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure stable financial operations.
Collaborate across Finance and IT functions—including Accounting, Controlling, Tax, P2P, O2C, Treasury, Basis, and Integration teams—while coordinating effectively with external partners and implementation vendors.
Technology Scope:
SAP S/4 Hana core processes in Finance, Controlling and understanding the integration with Purchase to Pay (P2P) and Sales and Distribution (SD)
SAP FI/CO development lifecycle: development, transport management, quality environment, and technical governance.
Retail and ECOM: POS and OMS Systems integration with SAP Finance & Controlling.
Interface technologies: IDoc, BAPI, data services, and general S/4HANA integration frameworks.
Lead SAP rollout projects end-to-end: from design and configuration to testing and go-live.

Skills Required
- Hands-on experience designing and configuring SAP S/4HANA FI/CO solutions
- Proven track record leading end-to-end SAP rollout projects (design to go-live)
- Experience with SAP FI/CO development lifecycle, transport management and technical governance
- Integration experience with P2P and SD processes and related systems
- Experience integrating POS and OMS systems with SAP Finance
- Familiarity with interface technologies: IDoc, BAPI, data services and S/4HANA integration frameworks
- Ability to provide support, troubleshooting, and operational stability for Finance operations
- Experience coordinating with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, Basis, and external vendors
- Knowledge of Treasury and e-invoicing integration with SAP
