Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Platform Management:
Manage the support, maintenance, and enhancement of integration platforms including Dell Boomi, Webmethods, JS7, and Xtract Universal.
Ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability to meet enterprise needs.
Implement best practices in integration design, development, and management.
Integration Development & Delivery:
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of new integrations and enhancements on Boomi and webMethods platforms according to business requirements from various functional areas.
Lead the resolution of complex integration issues, working collaboratively with application teams and vendors to ensure timely and effective solutions.
Platform Optimization & Strategy:
Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance, efficiency, security posture, and cost-effectiveness of the middleware platforms and integration processes.
Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for PerkinElmer's middleware and integration technologies, aligning with overall IT and business strategies, including cloud adoption, API-led integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
Manage vendor relationships and licenses for key middleware and scheduler software (Dell, Software AG, SOS GmbH, Theobald Software).
Collaboration with Enterprise Applications:
Partner with other enterprise application leads to architect and engineer end-to-end integration solutions across multiple systems and applications.
Align integration strategies with the broader enterprise application landscape to enhance operational efficiency.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes, workflows, and platforms.
Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Leadership & Team Management:
Manage resource allocation, and project prioritization for the middleware function.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, collaboration, security awareness, and continuous improvement within the team.
Communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders regarding platform status, strategy, risks, and project updates.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise application integrations.
Significant hands-on experience with at least two of the following integration platforms: Dell Boomi, Webmethods.
Proven experience with scheduling tools such as JS7.
Experience with data extraction tools like Xtract Universal is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of various integration patterns and technologies (e.g., APIs, SOAP, REST, ETL, messaging queues).
Experience with cloud-based integration solutions and hybrid integration architectures.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing technical teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in a globally distributed organization, managed multiple vendors.
Familiarity with enterprise application landscapes (e.g., ERP, CRM, SCM) is preferred.
