Manager, IT Endpoints

The Manager of Endpoints at Datadog leads the global management of over 7,000 endpoints, focusing on security, performance and compliance. This role oversees deployment, configuration and maintenance of endpoint tools, emphasizing automation and continuous improvement. The Manager works with Enterprise Technology teams to enhance endpoint security and user experience and integrates new technologies to support Datadog's growth. This position also offers opportunities to lead large projects and shape the strategic direction of endpoint management.

What You'll Do:

• Leverage your experience as a manager to drive results, build a positive culture and develop the members of the global Endpoints team, ensuring the delivery of secure, high-performing, and compliant endpoint solutions.
• Balance hands-on involvement with strategic oversight, leading the team in deploying, configuring, and managing tools like Microsoft Intune and Jamf, while also delegating tasks and ensuring successful execution.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline endpoint provisioning, patch management and software deployment processes.
• Collaborate with teams across Enterprise Technology to develop and enforce endpoint policies that enhance security and user experience making recommendations for new tools and solutions that will enhance endpoint management at Datadog..
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues, providing Tier 3 support and developing long-term solutions to minimize downtime.

Who You Are:

• An experienced people manager with 5+ years of endpoint management expertise, dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within your team.
• Skilled in balancing strategic requirements with hands-on execution, ensuring that high-level goals are met while managing and contributing to day-to-day operations of the Endpoints team you lead.
• Deep expertise in managing tools like Jamf, Intune, and other MDM platforms, with a strong understanding of macOS, Windows, and mobile device management.
• Experienced in driving automation and process improvement to enhance endpoint provisioning, security, and compliance.
• An excellent communicator, able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and comfortable working cross-functionally with IT, security, and engineering teams.
