Purpose: The Manager, Integrated Analytics & Forecasting is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of integrated analytics and business forecasts that provide actionable insights, identify growth opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making for J&J Immunology within the Autoantibody Business Unit. This role serves as a critical link between business performance measurement and future business planning, integrating insights across multiple data sources and forecasting methodologies to create a cohesive view of brand performance and outlook. The individual will collaborate closely with Strategic Insights & Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and other cross-functional partners to deliver timely insights, accurate forecasts, and actionable recommendations that support organizational priorities and drive business growth. The position plays a key role in evaluating strategies and tactics, influencing decision-making, and sharing accountability for business results.

This individual should demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics and forecasts into clear, compelling business stories for stakeholders and senior leadership. The Manager will be expected to foster a culture of smart risk-taking, continuous improvement, and innovation while upholding Johnson & Johnson Credo-based decision-making and promoting a Credo-driven culture.

Responsibilities

Business Performance Analytics

  • Serve as a leader in integrating data, analytics, and business insights across national, subnational, payer, patient, and competitive data sources to deliver a cohesive view of business performance.
  • Identify, develop, automate, and monitor key performance metrics that measure business health, support performance management, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Execute and evolve KPI measurement plans, evaluate ongoing business performance, and identify critical themes, risks, and opportunities requiring action.
  • Design and execute integrated analytics that inform brand strategy, tactical execution, resource allocation, and growth opportunities.
  • Leverage disparate internal and external data sources to address key business questions and uncover actionable insights.
  • Develop recommendations that influence decision-making and drive measurable business impact.
  • Drive focus and innovation through objective analyses and integration of insights, ensuring business actions are grounded in evidence.
  • Champion simplicity and efficiency within analytics processes to provide partners with timely, actionable, and scalable insights.
  • Identify opportunities to embed partner capabilities including Advanced Analytics, Access Insights, Patient Engagement, Market Research, and Competitive Intelligence to maximize organizational impact.

Forecasting & Integrated Business Planning

  • Support brand forecast modeling, performance tracking, risk and opportunity assessments, for leadership.
  • Support the development and execution of short-term and long-term forecasts that inform business planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor forecast performance and identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact business outcomes.
  • Maintain a continuous feedback loop between performance measurement and forecasting to improve forecast precision and business responsiveness.

Strategic Consulting & Leadership

  • Apply consultative problem-solving skills including business issue identification, hypothesis generation, analytical design, synthesis, and recommendation development.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings and forecast implications through compelling visualizations and executive-ready storytelling.
  • Influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and facilitate cross-functional alignment around business actions.
  • Demonstrate leadership courage to prioritize high-value work, establish clear boundaries, and ensure resources are focused on initiatives with the greatest business impact.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in analytics, forecasting, finance, market research, competitive intelligence, consulting, or related commercial business functions.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate analytics, forecasts, and insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Knowledge across a broad spectrum of forecasting and analytic methodologies and the ability to identify the appropriate approach to address key business questions.
  • Strong problem-solving and learning agility with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and complex business challenges.
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to create compelling visualizations and executive-level recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, anticipate business needs, proactively address issues, and influence stakeholders toward action.
  • Proficiency in analytics and business intelligence tools including Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and related platforms.
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and inform business planning.

  • Experience working with pharmaceutical data sources including IQVIA DDD, Xponent, claims, specialty pharmacy, lab, and patient-level data.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical forecasting, Integrated Business Planning, or commercial business planning processes.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies, predictive analytics, and forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with machine learning approaches and their practical business applications.
  • Experience working directly with pharmaceutical brand marketing, sales, market access, or commercial leadership teams.
  • Proven success integrating forecasting, analytics, market research, and competitive intelligence into a cohesive business performance narrative.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time
