As the Manager, Information Technology within Shared Technology, you will lead a team that's responsible for critical technology systems, including cloud platforms, server management, and application deployment. Your focus will be on making operations invisible, boosting workforce productivity, and ensuring a flawless technology experience from onboarding and beyond. Your work will support employees across all areas of the PEAK6 portfolio, enabling them to perform at their best every day.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, creative, and takes ownership of their work. You will lead projects that require clear communication and timely execution, while managing cloud, server, and application environments. We are looking for someone who has a passion for setting performance standards, thrives in a dynamic team environment, and can deliver fully integrated technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a distributed team across multiple geographies.
  • Identify gaps and areas of opportunity within the business to improve technology offerings.
  • Architect and implement technical solutions that enhance the overall employee experience across various organizations.
  • Lead the technical aspects of complex projects, including migrating legacy applications to the cloud and ensuring smooth operations for all employees.
  • Drive M&A initiatives from an IT perspective, including full implementation and integration.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics to guide team goals and organizational objectives.
  • Mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and executives.
  • Partner with key business units to ensure that their technology needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Finance to ensure timely and flawless execution of IT-related activities.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing a distributed workforce across multiple time zones.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in managing firm-wide technology adoption and driving operational efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Atlassian tools like Confluence and Jira.
  • Knowledge of SaaS solutions and best implementation practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Proficiency in developing and tracking KPIs, with the ability to analyze and implement metrics for success.
  • Experience with ticketing platforms and service management.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location. This position also may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to a range of health & wellness benefits, enhancing your overall compensation package.
Base Salary Range
$114,400-$143,000
