As a Software Engineer II, you will collaborate on back office processes, create applications for operations and finance, own key initiatives, and troubleshoot production issues.

The Analyst researches and analyzes market trends in the semiconductor industry, manages relationships with external experts, and integrates technology into their workflow while collaborating with the trading team.

Manage day-to-day office operations and facilities: keep shared spaces stocked and presentation-ready, handle reception and mailroom duties, coordinate vendors, oversee maintenance and repairs, manage conference rooms and A/V, support events, moves, and construction projects, and collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding.

Own and run finance shared services including Accounts Payable and T&E, administer Ramp and NetSuite, manage a small AP/T&E team, ensure controls and compliance, produce reporting and dashboards, and lead process improvement and AI-driven automation projects to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Design and develop proprietary trading tools. Collaborate with teams, optimize performance, mentor junior engineers, and troubleshoot issues.

Coordinate and execute internal events across three offices, support project tracking and operational tasks, provide day-to-day administrative assistance, manage logistics, prepare meeting notes, and support onboarding and shared documentation.

Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll via Workday for exempt and non-exempt employees; manage payroll tax registrations and notices; support year-end W-2s and external audits; reconcile payroll bank transactions and GL accounts; partner with HR, Finance, and Treasury; create ad hoc reporting and drive payroll process improvements and automation.

Manage and optimize critical Linux trading infrastructure: deploy and support Kubernetes, virtualization (Proxmox/QEMU-KVM), configuration management, automation scripting, and large-scale server/SAN environments. Collaborate with dev teams to operationalize applications, monitor system performance, and research/implement improvements to ensure stability for a 300+ physical server and 700+ VM environment.

Lead end-to-end bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing in Workday Payroll across multiple entities; ensure compliance with federal/state laws; manage payroll tax registrations and notices; serve as SME for payroll inquiries; drive year-end W-2 processing, reconciliations, reporting, GL entries, and process improvements; partner with HR, Finance, auditors, and system implementations to maintain controls and automate payroll workflows.

Owner of IAM layer ensuring proper access, hardening admin accounts, auditing OAuth, automating JML workflows, and managing risk-based access controls.

Designs, implements, and administers base pay, incentive, and equity programs. Conducts market benchmarking, job evaluations, compensation analyses, and pay equity audits. Partners with HR, Finance, and leadership on total rewards strategy, compensation planning, forecasting, and compliance. Maintains job architecture, HRIS compensation data, and supports M&A compensation due diligence and integrations.

Lead FP&A reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for PEAK6 and subsidiaries. Analyze monthly results, identify variance drivers, automate processes, standardize FP&A practices, and partner with business leaders to drive decision-making and efficiency improvements.

Manage and configure the Workday HCM platform across modules: design business processes, administer security, build advanced reports, support integrations (EIBs/APIs), participate in release testing, maintain org structures, collaborate with stakeholders, support payroll/benefits, and document configurations and testing outcomes.

Manage day-to-day facilities operations for the Chicago office, supervising facilities staff and vendors, overseeing kitchen/snack programs, inventory and budgets, performing inspections, coordinating maintenance/repairs, supporting events and reception duties, ensuring safety compliance, and partnering on workplace initiatives and onboarding.

The Senior Compliance Analyst develops and administers compliance programs, manages compliance policies, conducts reviews, and oversees compliance training and inquiries in options trading.
