This role serves as a key leader within the centralized DSD Governance team and is responsible for establishing, reinforcing, and advancing governance, compliance, and accountability standards across the DSD channel for ADUSA brands. Acting as the primary liaison for assigned brand(s), this position drives consistent execution, governance, and supplier accountability in alignment with DSD standards and brand expectations. The role drives structured oversight of the DSD GlobalWorx Improvement and Accountability programs, ensuring alignment to defined controls, standardized processes, and measurable performance outcomes.
The role spearheads cross-functional initiatives to address systemic DSD performance opportunities, including policy, process, and operating model enhancements. In close partnership with Retail Operations, Category Merchandising, Finance, IT, and a broad network of DSD suppliers, this leader ensures disciplined execution and measurable performance improvement across the DSD channel.
This position plays a critical role in embedding the company's new way of working within DSD by influencing change across internal stakeholders and external supplier partners.
Through deep understanding of the end-to-end DSD flow-from order creation through on-shelf availability-this leader identifies root causes of performance gaps and delivers holistic, data-driven solutions that reduce out-of-stocks, improve sales performance, and enhance the customer experience. The role carries direct accountability for driving revenue growth, operational improvements, and achievement of defined performance targets within the DSD channel.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Quincy, MA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a lead within the DSD supply chain governance structure, building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships across Brand Leadership, Retail Operations, Merchandising, Finance, IT, Omnichannel Commercial Support, e-Commerce, and the DSD supplier community.
- Act as the primary governance point of contact for assigned brand(s), ensuring adherence to standardized DSD policies, procedures, controls, and performance expectations.
- Oversee execution and continuous improvement of the DSD GlobalWorx platform and Accountability Program, ensuring tools, reporting, and processes drive measurable outcomes for Brands and Suppliers.
- Monitor, manage, and resolve DSD Governance-related concerns by partnering extensively with Retail Operations, Field Merchandising teams, and Suppliers to ensure consistent execution and compliance.
- Leverage the DSD Accountability Program, within participating Brands, to evaluate supplier performance against established KPIs, drive rapid issue resolution, and improve in-stock conditions and sales performance.
- Develop and implement enhanced reporting, measurement frameworks, and system capabilities within the GlobalWorx platform to strengthen governance visibility, compliance tracking, and performance management.
- Manage and monitor data associated with the DSD Tablet Check-In process to ensure supplier adherence to brand standards and expectations.
- Partner cross-functionally to assess supplier execution, financial impacts, and operational risks, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the DSD Standards Team to identify process improvement opportunities that drive efficiency, reduce operational risk, enhance service levels, and support revenue growth.
- Provide structured performance feedback and strategic guidance to Suppliers, recommending alternative methodologies for ordering, transportation, receiving, and shelf replenishment that align with brand strategy and operational standards.
- Partner cross-functionally to continually evaluate industry trends, alternative operating models, and emerging best practices, contributing to the evolution of the DSD governance framework.
- Drive change management initiatives across internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring adoption of new policies, processes, and accountability mechanisms.
- Establish and deliver periodic executive-level reporting on supplier performance, compliance metrics, sales impact, and risk indicators.
- Work closely with analytics partners to validate assumptions, conduct root cause analysis, and translate data into actionable insights that inform governance decisions and performance improvements.

IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $125,200 - $187,800
