Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for one or more areas of OneDigital’s HR Consulting (HRC) Services including direct supervision of HR Consultants, Generalist and other HRC staff and/or technical mastery and management of a specialty HRC practice area.
- Manage in one or more areas of business operations to include capacity planning, recruitment and hiring, client assignments, resource requirements and process improvement, employee performance, account management, receivables management and sales support activities.
- Mentor and support HRC staff on all client HR matters, tactical and strategic, including federal, multi-state and local compliance, the interpretation of policy and procedures, performance management, discipline, employee relations, conflict resolution, hiring and dismissal protocols, benefits and compensation, labor management, and employee training and development.
- Support OneDigital business development efforts with HR expertise, introductions and strategy as requested.
- Proactively learn and promote OneDigital services.
- Actively engage with OneDigital colleagues across the company to build relationships and develop insights that strengthen client relationships and services, business operations and development opportunities for HRC team members.
- Review client activity reports, set expectations and manage the expected performance of contributing team members on a timely basis. Positively impact the team through motivation and mentoring allowing team members to realize their potential.
- Strategize and plan for the future with contributing HRC team members and clients as necessary to ensure current HRC services match client needs, supports clear priorities, incorporates assignment changes and provides for succession planning.
- Monitor delegation of work to ensure strong support of clients and the team and help team members resolve challenges. Introduce clients to HRC team members and foster a continual connection to OneDigital’s broad team. Proactively build client Sponsor and executive relationships and manage escalated client issues to a successful resolution. Facilitate client reassignments as required.
- Intentionally model behavioral competencies and OneDigital values, demonstrating what expected performance looks like of HRC team members.
- Actively participate in OneDigital culture and relationship building initiatives across all business lines through active engagement, meeting attendance and by providing leadership, thought partnership, expertise, and open communication.
- Proactively seek ongoing knowledge and expertise in the HR environment as well as general business trends and practices; share expertise with others. Become a subject matter expert on an area of interest and team need.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in a specific area of HR which could include participating in webinars, published articles, blogs, trainings, whitepapers, alerts and public speaking opportunities.
- When participating in direct client work, prioritize and manage time optimally to client agreements and service delivery role. Delegate and provide direction, oversight, and mentorship of shared work on client engagements. Pre-plan and communicate anticipated overages and obtain pre-approval in writing prior to incurrence. Ensure accurate time tracking and descriptions of all client work performed. Negotiate service plan changes.
- Collaborate on client action plans, consult with, and provide information to contributing team members on a timely basis to meet client deadlines efficiently.
- Manage workload and ever-changing priorities to ensure all deliverables are of top quality and met on a timely basis.
- Provide effective remote and on-site consultative support as required to build a strong working alliance with current and prospective OneDigital clients. Regularly check in with clients and foster relationships that maintain high client retention and satisfaction and clarity of expectations.
- Develop and create HR products, templates, tools, policies, documents, spreadsheets, and presentations appropriate for team sharing; ensure accurate and organized file maintenance of all documents and data in shared drives.
- Conduct HR research; work on projects individually and as a team.
- Follow or create standard operating procedures and analytics to ensure consistent, efficient, and excellent client service.
- Provides expert advice, counsel and support on a fractional, interim or project-basis in areas of HR related to Leadership Development, Executive Coaching and related tools and resources.
- Promotes HR practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, and goal attainment.
- Demonstrates proven project management skills and the ability to multi-task by managing the moving parts and priorities of multiple clients
- Work may be at the client’s site or remotely – some travel will be required.
- Perform other duties as needed.

Education, Training & Experience:
- 10-15 years of related or equivalent human resources experience; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- SHRM-SCP and/or HRCI-SPHR certifications are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with business management, finance, and budget planning activities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, HRIS systems and video conferencing technology, specifically Zoom and Microsoft Teams, are required. Experience with account management software and social media tools is preferred. Demonstrated ability to learn new technology systems.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
